Chapter 22: Waffles

"Thank you, sir. Every day the cash will be available for you to collect over the course of 15 days." The owner marvelled and shook Prince Tay's hand.

"Every day either one of us will come to collect the money. Pleasure doing business with you." Mr Nova stated and also shook his hand. He had a black briefcase in the other hand then turned around and signalled for us to get up.

I helped Cuore up and Tay held the door open for us to leave.

"He agreed to pay us 50K in cash every day for the ring. Since neither of us has identification documents to open a bank account yet." Mr Nova told us as we walked towards the car.

"I had a friend once who remained unregistered as a child. When she applied for her ID, she first had to get a birth certificate. I guess I could do the same, and claim I don't know who my parents are." I offered.

"Kid you are only 15, that won't give us access to a lot of things." He replied.
