Caleb Li looked at her strange behavior for some seconds without uttering a word. Deep in his heart, he knew it was only a matter of time before they were ambushed by the black-clad men. Then, he could confirm his guess. With that out of his mind, he ignored everything and focused on his cultivation.

"We should rest here. The horses can't continue anymore," Elder Feng announced, stopping the horses.

On the roof, Caleb Li opened his eyes slightly and realized a couple of hours had passed by when he was lost in cultivation. Raising his head, he looked at the stars and wondered. This was the first time he witnessed such a bright night sky.
