Beating Kenzo Blue-Black

"Fight," their homeroom teacher announced.

Instantly, Kenzo dashed toward Caleb Li with a deep evil grin on his face. In his mind, he already saw him lying helplessly on the ground.

Caleb Li watched calmly as he rushed toward him and took the common stance of military boxing. If one thing the previous owner of this body was good at, it was this military boxing.

Though it was not martial art skills, still, its versatility made it both easy and difficult to grasp. But when grasped, it would become a deadly skill in close combat.

Thus, when Kenzo arrived in front of him and swung his ax down, ready to smash him to pieces.

He moved and sidestepped to the left, dodging the attack by a hair. Caleb Li's coordination and reflexes were fluid and precise.

Outside the stage, Rose and other students held their breath when Kenzo ruthlessly swung his ax toward Caleb Li's chest. Everyone was expecting him to struggle against such an attack, but when they saw how flawlessly he avoided the attack, their jaws dropped to the ground.

Is this the same Caleb Li they knew?

Some even questioned whether they were sleeping or not?

On the podium, Miss Freya creased her brow with a slightly stunned expression before a look of realization appeared on her face. 'He had become a martial artist? How is that possible?!'

On the stage, Kenzo was flabbergasted by Caleb Li's movement but recovered quickly.

He was a Rank-3 Mortal rank warrior while this trash was just some ordinary person. He must be lucky. Next time, he won't be so lucky. So, he thought.

Just as he prepared to retract his ax and strike the second time, a heavy punch smashed deep into his chest.

A deep groan escaped from his mouth, and all his organs shook vehemently as if they wanted to rupture. Confused and shocked, he turned his head and saw Caleb Li had changed his stance into an attacking one.

Everything happened in a blink. He didn't even catch his breath from his missed first attack to his retaliation.

Realizing he had been hit by Caleb Li, his face contorted in anger and fury.

He screamed, veins bulging from his forehead as he swung his ax with more force. The ax generated strong wind, rushing toward Caleb Li's chest at a greater speed.

If Caleb Li were still an ordinary human, he wouldn't see the trajectory of the attack, not to talk about avoiding it. But now, the case was different.

Caleb Li took a step back and leaned back, avoiding the attack simply like that. What followed next was him taking two rapid steps, covering the short distance between them and appearing in front of him.

Bang! Bang!

He attacked, sending two powerful punches into Kenzo's chest. His unguarded body received the heavy brunt of his fist, and the sound of ribs cracking echoed in the stadium.

A painful groan escaped from his mouth, and his face whitened. He couldn't process what was happening. This was not what he envisioned happening.

Caleb Li was a weak, useless classmate. How can he successfully avoid two of his attacks?

While he was thrown into a whirlpool of conflicting emotions, Caleb Li had launched another round of deadly punches.

Bang! Bang!

Ahhhhhhh!

A miserable scream echoed from Kenzo, and a mouthful of blood splashed from his mouth. The continuous punches sent him flying with almost all his ribs broken into pieces.

His miserable wails left both the students and teacher speechless. But that wasn't the end; Caleb Li pounced on him one more time and continued more punches into his body.

Ahhhhhhh!

"H-H-E-L…"

Bang!

Kenzo's three front teeth were sent flying out of his mouth under Caleb Li's powerful punch. His seemingly beautiful face was pummeled into a pig-head rapidly.

For a good three minutes, the only sound heard in the stadium was the continuous sound of his punches ramming into Kenzo's face.

At first, a muffled sound was still escaping from his mouth, but slowly it lessened before it finally stopped. However, Caleb Li didn't have the intention of stopping.

The stage was already dyed in Kenzo's blood with some of his innards that escaped from his mouth.

"That's enough," Miss Freya commanded.

But Caleb Li didn't seem to hear as he continued to hit Kenzo on the face. Seeing this, she frowned and disappeared from her spot, moving at an extremely fast speed, impossible for the eyes to see.

She appeared beside him and lifted him up with one hand. "I said that's enough!"

A powerful aura burst out of her body, waking him up from his trance of revenge. He blinked his eyes twice, wondering what just happened.

Looking at the pig-head face on the ground, the realization dawned on him, and he turned to look at the deadpan expression of his teacher.

"Are you back to your senses now?" She asked.

He nodded calmly.

"Good."

Miss Freya dropped him to the ground and went toward the unrecognizable face on the ground. She couldn't see Kenzo's eyes anymore; they had been swollen and bruised, turning his face into a meatball.

'What a ruthless young man?!' She exclaimed in her mind as she forced open his mouth and fed him a blue round pill.

As for Caleb Li, he walked back to his position with a calm expression on his face. As for Kenzo's friends, their faces whitened, laced with fear and panic.

The students looked at him with various conflicting gazes on their faces. Meanwhile, Rose had the opposite expression.

Her face brightened up, filled with joy. She knew how others had bullied him when he was weak, but now, it seemed things had changed.

"Did you pass the trial?" She asked when he arrived beside her.

"Yes," he answered truthfully.

"I knew it!" She grinned. "Now we can train together and beat them to pulp."

He turned and looked at Rose's grinning face and wondered what was wrong with her. He now understood why she had no friends in the class.

"If we are going to train together, you need to change your martial technique since you've become a martial artist."

"After class, we will go to the library to find the right technique for you." The more she spoke, the brighter her face became.

Though she was small, she was known for one thing: a Battle Maniac. And now, her buddy could train with her.
