IN ANOTHER WORLD

"Ding dong dang dong…ding dong dang dong".

The bell rank signalling the end of the long day at school, some of the student in my class are preparing to leave except for one person and that is Reinard. He is just sitting in his chair in the back facing the window and thinking the words.

"I'm on the cleaning duty today…huh…." And let out a sigh.

Approaching from behind him is two a boy and a girl smiling.

"Don't worry you will be done before you know it so don't look so depress" said the boy with a brown short hair.

"so see you tomorrow Reinard" the said the girl with a half blond hair, waving his hand and steadily turn around and leave.

The boy followed her and they walk through the door.

"yeah see you tomorrow too two lovebirds" Reinard replied with somewhat jealous tone.

After the farewell of the two unnecessary character in this story Reinard survey the whole room and look if someone is going to comeback. After seeing that no one will going to go back to the room he started cleaning the room.

"hhhhhhaaaahhhhhh…. It's done at last!" he said while doing some stretching while walking.

After he finished cleaning the classroom he leaves and now walking on the way home. Since their house is short distance walk to school, Reinard has no problem in going home late but he is not happy that he was late going home because he was in a cleaning duty. While walking a memory of thee girl in the stairway popped in his head, but not like the one in the morning he just let it slip through his mind and continue walking. After seeing the sign on the store saying "SALE" he changes his course of walk to the store nearby.

"I will tell mom later that I stop by the store to buy some papers" he said wearing a tired expression on his face.

"lucky that poster really is real... a sale not bad…" he said after lifting the paper bag that he was holding.

Not like a moment ago where there are lots of people around now it's not so much, he stops walking and look around.

"so this is the town during six in the evening huh…" he said with half surprised expression on his face.

He keeps on looking around while walking and saw something that will change his world entirely.

It was like the time is running slowly in Reinard's eyes, his eyes went wide because in the not so far pedestrian a kid was walking entirely alone the light that indicates walk in the pedestrian lane is blinking signalling that everyone around not to cross, but the kid didn't notice that and keep walking. A moment later a huge truck charging at full speed came to view, the kid saw the truck and froze in fear. At the same moment Reinard didn't think of anything and run as fast as he can to the kid's side.

"PLEASE MADE IT IN TIME!" Reinard thought while running at full speed towards the kid.

At that same moment as Reinard and the kid froze in fear, a girl same age as Reinard came to the kid's side. The girl pushes the kid as hard as she can, the kid who was being pushed rolled for a bit and stop at the side of the road. Reinard saw what happened and also saw that the girl that saved the kid a moment ago was now in danger, he didn't hesitate a bit and rush on the girl's side to do what she did to the kid. After a second he reaches the girl hold her prompting to push her out of the danger but the truck was literally in front of the two, that moment it feels like the clock stopped moving.

"thank you…" said the girl.

"ah…" Reinard is shock for a moment.

The truck hit Reinard and the girl not just a normal hit, everyone who saw what happened just accept the fact that the two of them are already dead and didn't have a second thought calling the ambulance for further assistance.

"what is going on? Where am I?"

That was the first that come to my mind, I don't remember anything that leads me to this situation. Even if my mind can think I can't move even if I force my mind I can't move a muscle even opening my eyes is out of option. But even though I can't see anything I feel very light like I was floating in the air.

"ah… I remember now…" I paused and remembered "We died…".

the recent event flashed in my memory kid the girl everything is clear to me now.

"Is this heaven? Or hell?" I thought.

While thinking about that my body feels like drowning but my thought didn't affect it a single bit, it is like I know the feeling but I can't respond. After like a moment of sinking in the water like feeling, I feel like I reach the bottom or something. I know it's useless but I tried to move again, but unlike a moment ago I felt that my hand moved. So I slowly opened my eyes.

"what… is… this…place?" I said confused.

For a moment I forgot that I died in an accident, there was a huge hall with a throne on the middle corner of it making it like the ones that we see in anime or movie a throne room. Not only the place that make me confused, but also the circle that is embedded underneath the place where I woke up a moment ago, and when I look around about six robed people with a book that is glowing brightly are surrounding the embedded circle. What surprise me more is that I was not alone in the circle there are two of us, and the other one that is inside the circle and asleep until this moment is the girl who saved the kid back then and the one I was trying to save but failed.
