"I ---- it's you..", Adam stuttered

As he was still unable to hold his excitement, a word was then mumbled by him "Greed!"

The source of the voice was no other than Greed!

Adam nearly cried in excitement at the thought of talking with Greed. Since before, he had always wanted to converse with Greed especially when they were taking a rest during hunting...

But alas! Greed just always looked at him with an expressionless face and didn't even respond nor nod his head.

Hence, he just let Greed continued hunting while he was taking a rest..

He also never thought that there would come a day where he could converse with Greed directly.

Adam only expected that once he reached level 100+, Greed's other skill would be unlocked, but contradict to his expectation, the more fascinating aftermath transpired! namely: an ability to talk.

After a while, Adam then looked at the face of Greed which was still expressionless, this somewhat made him confuse.

Therefore, he started assessing Greed's advancement and looked at the latter's information...

Description: The strongest enemy that the 'Supreme' had ever fought with, and also the last soul he imprisoned as defeating Greed was done through the expense of his own life.

Skill:

: Domineering Sword (Passive): A swordsmanship that leads 'The Supreme' to its final breath. Brandished a sword with domineering swordsmanship.

: Thousand Sword Strike: A sword skill created by Greed himself when he was still an apprentice which gained praise and acknowledgment from various sword masters. A sword strike with a power of a thousand swords would be dealt on the enemy.

- Cooldown time: 2 hours

- Mana consumption: 1,000,000 mana

Other skill currently lock: requirements - the user has to be level 200

: Attributes (strength, agility, etc. ) varies from the amount of mana supplied

After seeing the newly gained skill by Greed, Adam nearly puked as the mana consumption was so high!

'1,000,000?!', Adam uttered bewilderedly

It's a freaking 1 million mana! Hence, Adam felt his head get dizzy a bit as he thought of expending such mana with just one skill...

But upon giving it some thought, the skill might be potent, and considering that it's a skill created by Greed himself, just how genius could Greed be?

'damn...', Adam just gulped in anticipation while looking at Greed...

Now, he started to wonder just who could Greed be in his previous life? And who was The Supreme? And why the heck did The Supreme so eager to kill Greed to the point that he had done it at the expense of his own life?

'G--- greed, just w-who...', Adam stuttered...

Soon, after pulling himself from this thought, he started to assess just how much change did occur on Greed...

Hence, he began by asking him a question...

"Greed, just who are you?", Adam asked while fretting as he was fearful of what Greed's answer would be, 'what if he was a killer before?' Adam uttered silently.

But contradict Adam's expectation, Greed answered him directly...

"I am Greed, Greed is Greed!", said Greed firmly with still an expressionless face

Adam nearly spat up as he didn't expect Greed's direct answer, his imagination of Greed being the most hated villain who led a vast genocide shattered hastily.

Soon, he rearranged his question and started asking Greed, but ended up being disappointed at his finding.

'Talk, that's all he could do...'

Unlike Adam's expectation, Greed only obtained an ability to speak, nothing more, nothing less...

He couldn't even think of complex things, likewise, he didn't gain even a bit of his memory.

Hence, Adam was dissatisfied...

'maybe when I advanced to level 200 or above, Greed would be able to regain his memory?', Adam thought

Soon, upon knowing Greed's improvement due to his advancement...

Adam then started to get excited at the notion of his progress, hence, he immediately recalled the message which kept on popping up earlier...

After seeing the consecutive notifications by the system that appeared before him, Adam was so enthusiastic at the number of boons he received!

First, he received a bonus remaining attribute points and skill points, likewise, his stats doubled as well.

Secondly, he acquired +3 skill points from his occupation and titles!

Hence, Adam was so overjoyed as he can now upgrade his skill directly.

However, what caught Adam's interest the most was the upgrade of his Unique skill 'Extreme Luck'!

He was not shocked nor bewildered at all as it was common knowledge that when someone entered a major breakthrough, their unique skill would be upgraded as well.

Hence, a level 201 chosen had their unique skill at level 2, likewise, a level 300 chosen had it at level 3, and so on...

As Adam was so excited at what benefits the upgrade would bring, hence he instantly checked its detail...

Description: Upon activation, extreme luck would descend to the Chosen within 3 seconds

"w--- wait, 4 1/2 days? I-- it can't be right?", Adam murmured bewilderedly

As for the reason? It's because he anticipated the possible aftermath of this, hence, to validate his thought, he immediately checked the cooldown time of the skill again...

'no!', Adam shouted which attracted the attention of nearby wolves...

Likewise, Adam didn't care as his face was all sullen

'I g-- got to wait for another 4 1/2 days then?', Adam murmured

As mentioned, the reason why Adam felt gloomy was that earlier, the cooldown time of his skill was only 3 days! Since he had stayed in Batangas City for 1 day, and another 1 day on the hunting ground...

However, when the skill was upgraded, the cooldown time resets and turned into 4 1/2 days!

Hence, Adam felt downhearted as he had to wait for days again...

'I-- it's fine, it's fine... Just think that its gonna be good for the long run...', Adam uttered to himself.

Soon, after a minute of reassuring himself, he then turned his perspective to the positive aftermath of the upgrade... , namely: the skill points!

Hence, excitedly, Adam checked his remaining skill points...
