Azviel smiled. "There's your real self. Not the timid, little girl that would pretend to be nice and scared."
Yone stood up shakily. "E-Elzya, what is the meaning of this?"
Elzya laughed. "You all have been tricked. I was hoping you would die to the mobs inside, but Aldo over here killed them. It doesn't matter, this will be your grave anyways."
Azviel smirked. "You miscalculated."
She frowned. "No, I didn't. There's no way someone with such low levels can beat me. A level 157!"
He threw off his cloak and mask, and instantly, his wings and horns became exposed once more. Azviel's level and name changed back to what they were originally.
Elzya froze and walked backwards. "I-Impossible! How can a boss be at another dungeon?!"
He smiled and waved a finger. A black circle of flames surrounded Yone, Bane, and Marn, trapping them. "This is my prey, not yours."
Marn fell on the ground with a horrified expression. "W-We're so dead...A level 157 and a dungeon boss from a SSS-Rank dungeon?!"
Azviel stretched out his wings and dived towards Elzya, bringing down his sword. She yelled, "Wind, Tornado!"
A tornado instantly formed, creating a vortex around him. Azviel carefully maintained his balance in the air. He lifted his sword to the ground. "Hell Fire, Complete Annihilation."
The ground cracked a black fire burst from within. It instantly started burning Elzya. She screamed in pain and yelled, "Water, Riptide!" A wave instantly appeared to douse the flame, but it turned into steam.
Azviel vanquished the tornado and walked towards her. "Nothing. Nothing! Nothing can ever douse my flames." He pulled the fire back into his palm and looked down at Elzya on the floor. She spat a mouthful of blood and whispered, "I-Impossible..." Then, she was dead.
Yone trembled as Azviel started walking towards the survivors. "S-Stay back, demon!" She shakily aimed her bow at him.
He frowned. "That's not something you say to someone who saved your life. Anyways, it doesn't really matter, since you're going to die here anyways."
Azviel turned away from them and snapped his fingers, causing the fire circle around them to shrink and burn them to death.
While the screams behind him echoed, he picked off all the loot from Elzya. "Some coins~ A nice staff and that's it. I can sell the staff." Then, Azviel grabbed the boss' loot. "More coins, a thick leather coat? And a spear. Interesting." He picked the rest of the coins and artifacts from Yone, Marn, and Bane's body. "My apologies. I hope you live longer in your next life."
Azviel put his cloak back on and said, "Set Name: Fallen Angel. Set Level: 83." He smiled a bit at the name. "How ironic...83 should be high enough to be treated well, but low enough to not stand out."
He hurried out and went through the black, swirling portal.
~~~~~
Azviel covered his eyes as a blinding light hit him. He slowly adjusted and stood up again. "Oh? I'm back where I started when I first exited my original dungeon. This is in the middle of Elthea."
He picked up the staff and spear from his side. "I better find somewhere to sell these." Azviel walked to a shop stall that was selling weapons. He cleared his throat and called out, "Is anyone here?"
A girl popped out from behind the counter. "Hello! What would you like to buy today?"
Azviel quickly read the name tag on top of her.
[Player Fellai Jinci]
[Level 52]
"I'm here to sell, not buy."
Fellai held out a hand. "Well? Let me see!"
He quickly placed the spear and the staff on the table. She picked them up and inspected them. "Not bad...not bad. Rare grade staff. And uncommon grade spear. I can give you forty-five gold coins for this. Deal? Yes or no?"
Azviel nodded. She quickly placed the coins in his hand. "Now off you go if you aren't buying anything! Bye bye, dear customer!"
He nodded and headed off. Azviel quickly bought some cold water from another stall and sat down on a nearby bench in the shadows.
He took a sip and looked up at the blue sky. "How peaceful..."
~~~~~
Alicat stormed through the streets in frustration, holding her head. "ARGH! I have a headache from thinking so much! I need a break!"
Her maid, Hellia, bowed to her. "Milady, I'll get you a drink. Please take a rest in the shade."
Alicat nodded, shooing her off. "Please do. I'll go sit at that bench over there." She went over to the bench and sat down. She sighed and shook her head in annoyance. "I can't believe I can't find the culprit..."
A voice sounded from next to her. "Hello."
Alicat jumped a bit and let out a little scream. "AH! O-Oh, my apologies. I didn't see you there. Hello."
The man was wearing a cloak with a black mask. However, he had a small smile on his face. "You seemed to be troubled, Ms...Vernia."
Alicat sighed and waved her hand in annoyance. "Call me Alicat. I just have a headache from an unsolvable problem." She looked at the name of the man. Fallen Angel. She almost giggled out loud. "I-I'm sorry, haha...Is Fallen Angel your real name?"
The man smiled a bit more. "You may call me what you want." Alicat calmed herself down. "If you say so, Angel. Just curious, have you seen a big raven, or crow? Or at least something with black feathers?"
Angel shook his head. "No, I have not. Is your unsolvable problem something related to that?" She nodded. "Yes. A black feather was found, but I have no leads..."
He tilted his head. "Found? Leads? Are you a detective?" Alicat covered her mouth. "Oh, I'm sorry. I've said too much. Please excuse me. It was nice meeting you."
Angel smiled and waved. "Yes, see you Alicat."
