Chapter 2:I'm A Genius Deal With it!

As he looked at the message he couldn't help but be giddy in excitement! He had 3 games in his inventory. But he was also confused as they were locked. Frowning in confusion he silently thought.

'System why are these game plots locked away?' Cid asked.

{Answer: Games are locked due to technical limitations of the current age you are in. In order to unlock, user needs to invent more tech or wait until technology has caught up to hosts memories.}

'Well that answers it, I'm too far back in time to take advantage of some of the games....sigh oh well.' Cid thought to himself before focusing on the here and now.

'Either way its time to call a meeting for Super Mario Bros.'

Seeing as it was a small office he went outside and called to the others to come in for a meeting about their first game.

"Ok guys I have a game that i plan on being one of our flagship titles!" Cid said before showing them a paper he had been doodling on. Turning it around they saw a colorful logo that spelled 'Super Mario Bros.'

Needless to say it intrigued them how and why this was going to be one of their flagship titles so questions were asked.

As soon as said questions were asked they got to work with excitement and vigor. It would take them about 2 to 3 years and countless late night sessions of programming and meticulous amounts of combing through the code of their new game for bugs and fixes. During that time they also were developing a brand new system to play it on that was internally named Super Famicom which took them a additional 3 years. During this period Cid was heavily involved with both projects as he was the one with the ideas.

5 Years Later at a tech expo The newly made Nintendo Corp. was ready to unveil the fruits of their labor.

Nintendo Headquarters: Meeting room...

"Ok people we have our spot slotted at Expo 85:. I cant express how grateful I am that everyone has stuck around to make this dream a reality. Now lets go kill this event!" Cid exclaimed with glee and gusto as everyone stood up and cheered along with him.

Next Day Expo 85 Tsukaba Japan:

The expo was bustling with activity and glee from potential Corps looking to make it big with their new inventions and what not.

Behind the curtain on the main stage of the event Cid was getting ready to go out.

Soon he was signaled to go out and begin his event by the stage hand.

Outside:

Everyone was waiting some with anticipation and some with disdain.

"I cant see this being any good, it's a new company correct?" A Executive from a brand name company jeered.

"Yes some new company called Nintendo of Japan. Like you I cant see them coming out with anything good at this moment." Another agreed.

Soon everyone quieted down out of respect as Cid came on stage.

"I want to thank everyone here for coming to see our company's newest revolution in gaming. We at Nintendo will always strive to bring you our customers satisfaction and memorable gameplay. Before anything I will now unveil one of our Flagship games as well as the system to play it on."

The entire hall was dimmed as a screen came down and started to play a trailer of their game.
