Slaughter and Satisfaction

Finishing up Sarah is still worried over her satisfaction of killing and eating Michael, it seems her beast side influences her more than she thought. Though she doesn't particularly mind killing humans she doesn't like the satisfaction that spreads through her being as it felt so good that it could be compared to taking a hot bubbly bath after a stressful day.

(A/N: Don't actually know what girls would find satisfying so I just googled and found a page on Cosmopoliton. And before you comment, I didn't want to take the easy road and say it was comparable to an orgasm.)

*Sigh*

Sighing to herself in her mind she recollects herself and circles back around to where Reed is ready to pounce on him for the kill. "He's way too relaxed right now" is what Sarah thought as she listened to Reed whistle out of tune for a song. Taking advantage of the fact that he's relaxed she goes behind the tree he is leaning on and slowly makes her way around the left side making sure she doesn't make a sound to alert him. Inching closer and closer she made her way closer to him. Swinging her right paw inwards towards his head she just hears a sound reminiscent of someone smashing open a watermelon as she watches his head literally explode into pieces with his blood and brain matter going everywhere. Checking that no one had heard her killing him she quickly eats him and gains another Evolution point which makes the count at 42 which means she is only seven away from evolving everything again. Getting up she heads back to where Frederick was and doesn't realise that she had just walked back into a trap.

Back in the area where Frederick was supposed to be she looks around carefully and can't see him or any of his companions around. "Hmmmm. Where could they be? They definitely haven't left" Sarah pondered. Just as se was about to circle back around through the bushes she falls into a pit that was covered by a net made of leaves that blended in with the bush. "Dammit" she cursed as she fell. "Just as well they didn't make any stakes, otherwise I would have a little trouble" Cold sweat fell off of her as she imagined herself falling into a pit of stakes even though she would probably only get minor injuries at best if she fell at this height onto spikes, of course that was if they were made of wood. The pit was double her height and just barely big enough to fit her in it making it slightly cramped making it hard to move and get up.

"Hurry up. It's fallen into the pit over there" Annouunced Frederick garnering an immense amount of hate for himself from Sarah as she swore that the first person dead after she got out would be him. Squirming around a bit to loosen more dirt at the sides she waits for them to come at just before the edge and then uses Among the shadows to go into the shadows and then went up along the wall under their feet as they checked the pit to be atonished that whatecer fell into the pit had managed to escape and if it was the animal they were looking for it would be slightly troublesome. "Hey, I thought you said it would work?" Ashley questioned as she didn't like being in this forest with all the dirt and insects. Just thinking of her pretty face being besmirched by anything made her shudder. Creeping up behind them she teleports into Ashleys shadow as she is closest to Frederick as she is now questioning him while he can only smile bitterly at the 'Little Princess' before him as she complained to him. Although under that facade he was calculating how the monster could have gotten out of there without any of them noticing as they weren't to far away from the pit and would have seen anything leaving it. Teleporting to Fredericks shadow whilst he is distracted Sarah takes this opportunity to go up his back as a mini-wolf shadow that could be mistaken as a tattoo if she was on the skin. Now at his neck she circles around to his jugular and pokes head out and before he can finish his exclamation of surprise she bites through his neck killing him.

"Pheonix Flames" Ashley shouted as she launched flames at Sarah just before she could turn back into her complete shadow form. Just as Sarah was about to become a complete shadow her snout was still exposed, the flames arrived and immediately Sarah's whimpers could be heard as she felt pain from her snout being burned, well more like singed as her body had become really resistant after her evolutions. Incensed Sarah jumps out of the shadow and also calls forth a shadow wolves to deal with Steven and Charles which barely took anything out of her when using it. Turning back to Ashley she glared at her at although she didn't take any substantial damage from the fire her snout is still very sensetive even though it's durability had heightened, what didn't help was the fact that she had also chosen an evolution path that enhanced her senses which includes pain. Slowly walking towards her watching as her earlier confident demeanor becomes despairing as she watches Sarah show that although she felt some pain she didn't actually take damage from the attack. Watching her face become despairing ignited that feeling of satisfaction again, it felt so good that she questioned of she was a sadist as she enjoyed making them feel pain, she enjoyed the look on their face as they realised they were going to die. It was so thrilling and brought some exciting to her somewhat dull life as she had become monotonous in her activities lately, all it's been is practice and hunting.

*Ba-Dum, Ba-Dum*

Her heart started beating so fast that if she had a human face it would be flushed red from the excitement she was feeling. Stopping just in front of Ashley she looks down as the girl urinates from the fear she feels from the prospect of death. Under her extreme fear she couldn't even resist as Sarah used Dark Seed on her and became a puppet for Sarah which Sarah just asked her questions about the outside world and its factions. Finding out what she wanted she immediately kills her with a swipe of her paw. looking over she sees that they are still hanging on against her shadow wolf. Deciding her plans she abruptly summons another right behind Steven which immediately finishes him off. Looking at Charles she uses Dark Seed again but subtly this time as she doesn't want him to know he is under her control.

"War God's Chop" Shouting he executes the War God's Chop towards the real Sarah as she had dispersed the shadow wolves after they had killed Steven making Charles think she was at her limit of casting any abilities or skills she had. Unknowingly his chop had deviated just slightly to the side of Sarah however what he was seeing was him chopping open an unaware wolf as it was distracted.

Melding into the shadows she has Charles leave the forest under a silent persuasion through the dark seed whispering into his subconscious 'Job done. Must leave' over and over till his conscios took the hint and left and didn't notice the 'dead' wolf phase out of reality.

When she got the information from Ashley earlier she learned that she was the cause of her own hunt as she had slaughtered so many beasts that a slaughter aura had surrounded her part of the forest and decided that she will move to farther areas and spread out her hunts letting the slaughter aura thin out in her area. Done with everything she went back to her home (she ate Steven and Ashley before she left) and dipped in the lake for a quick wash before she headed into the cave for a nap.

~Two and a half days later~

Finally back to the group of leaders Charles was immediatley questioned and had to break the news that they were dead to them. Just as he had explained the circumstances to them a very dense killing intent leaked from each of the people that had lost a genius from their faction and they suffocated him with the pressure until Edmond lighlty coughed, after which they receded their killing intent as if it were never there and they just up and left since they didn't have anyone to wait for anymore. The only thing they found slightly troublesome was the backlash from that Ashley dying as she wasn't only from the Nirvana Pheonix Sect she was also the Macdonald family heads only daughter from his first wife who died giving birth and treated her as if she was a precious treasure. Sighing Edmond told Charles to have a rest before they started their journey back to the academy.
