There was a red carpet at the entrance where many guests were slowly walking towards the grand entrance of the huge, archaic landmark. I could see many celebrities and probably famous people who had arrived ahead of us.
"Ready." He said as the driver of the limousine opened the door for us. I just closed my eyes for a brief moment and nodded, and then he started guiding me out of the vehicle.
Blinding lights started to rain down on us as I raised my hand to cover my eyes. Then, one by one, they asked Nathan about the identity of his date. I just kept my silence as I steadily walked beside Nathan, with a smile plastered on my face.
He kept his hold on my arm firmly as he gracefully guided me towards the front entrance. He just smiled, but never uttered a word to them.
"I told you it was that easy," Nathan whispered in my ears as we entered the huge building. I could only nod in agreement.
