Standing barely over 170 centimeters with a freckled face and unimpressive features, Woolie was the last person I expected to see chasing after a heroine.

As someone who had spent Hundreds of hours conquering heroine routes in countless games, the idea of someone like him daring to aim for a heroine was laughable—an insult to the very concept of romance.

"H-Hurry up!" Woolie's voice trembled as he tried to mask his embarrassment, but it only made him look more pathetic. 

Suppressing the urge to scoff, I quickened my pace and caught up.

We soon arrived at the clearing where logs were piled up for chopping. Splitting the wood would take turns, and Woolie insisted on going first.

"Hngh—haa!" Wielding an axe that looked too big for his frame, Woolie struggled to even lift the tool without shaking. 

When he finally mustered the strength to swing, the axe barely grazed the log before bouncing off with a dull thunk.
