I Can Talk to the Essence of Everything

Liam is a typical spoon-fed rich guy who tossed it all out the window. Well, he wasn't exactly specific as he could control the world… that is if he wanted to do that. He was more into adventure and learning. You could call him the curious cat, as his curiosity brought him a lot of trouble. He is the only person who can see and interact with the condensed forms of matter. He calls them Avatars of the World, but they call him a World Reader. It's a name they didn't come up with; instead, they knew what he was without any idea what it meant. They also felt the need to protect the child of the worlds, which brought them the Worlds Readers anger as he didn't like being protected to this extent. The trouble came searching for him, and that trouble would come at him every time… Fortunately, Liam decides to explore the trouble that one seed brought him, as it seems he has no other choice. He lands on a new planet and decides to learn more about it. Then, finally, starting to feel excited by all the strangeness and meeting some terrifying things and humans with strange kinds of social hierarchy. At least he won't be bored anymore, is what he thinks. '**' There will be a tiny mention of a system later, but that is just a small part. And that would happen after he completes an assignment he does not know about. **** Art, not mine. I don't know the artist either. Sorry. If the artist finds this and doesn't like that I'm using it, please let me know, and I'll take it down.

Letter

The old man looked at the boy and started to tear up, all of a sudden the old man was crying rivers. The boy reached over to hug the man and patted his back in comfort as he waited for the old man to calm down.

"I don't need to hear your story, I just knew you were in need," the boy says. "But I'm also in need of your services, you have a boat, right?"

The old man was already old and knew of many characters. The boys' character wasn't new to him, it was just that he hadn't seen many with his characteristics. He nodded at the boys' words.

"Take the stuff I gave you home and meet me back here tomorrow an hour before sunrise. I will give you your payment then," he said to the old man as he got up and walked back into the town.

He had only taken a few steps but he was feeling like something was wrong. He pushed the feeling down for the moment as he needed some stuff to buy. After all, he couldn't breathe underwater and he wasn't sure how deep it might be.

An hour later, he was actually sitting down on the shoreline. Watching the waves splash against the rocks. He had chosen a space with not many people around. He needed privacy for what he was about to do, besides the beach was holding some sort of festival. Something about sending the summer spirits to rest and welcoming the autumn spirits.

It was already evening and the sun was about to set. For a moment he stared at the sun before looking at certain locations before looking at the opposite location from it. He was thinking of the feeling he got before. It had vanished now but he could still remember the pain it caused him. It had gradually lessened as he was going back toward the water again.

That pain had been something deep. It was related to his very existence, his heart, and his mind. After a moment he thought of the word soul. He was thinking that the pain came from his soul. Once he went further away from it, it would cause him pain, but it would do nothing when he went closer.

He had heard stories about it before. After all his family had a rich history and destiny was a big part of their family. There were only a few who found their destiny and they have described the feeling in detail. He had read up on it, just because he was curious and now he was feeling it.

It made him hesitant.

He felt like his destiny was close at hand but very far away. He felt like his destiny was to start a journey where he didn't know about his destination. It was maddening. How could he start a journey when he didn't know what the destination was supposed to be. Somehow he could feel that the point of the journey was the journey itself and somehow he felt that it had checkpoints and an end goal. But what was the end goal? He tried to feel it by meditating on the feeling, concentrating on the pain he felt before.

In his mind, a picture started to take form.

A huge sun was forming in front of him, it was close and it radiated a lot of heat. Once he raised his hand and could see his own hand burning.

Suddenly, he could feel the same pain in his hand.

It had broken his concentration and opened his eyes gasping for air. He was sitting in a lotus position and started at his hand. His hand was still in pain and somehow he could smell the burning smell of flesh. He didn't like the smell and he started at his hand more thoroughly. He could feel his hand being very stiff and the skin on it felt unbearably tight. Like he had actually been burned.

He thought for a moment. What was that? Was this his destiny? Why was it so big? And why did it hurt me? Suddenly a moment of clarity hit him.

I am too weak.

To put it in perspective, he wasn't weak but compared to that destiny he was like a bug on a planet.

He calmed himself down and concentrated on his own body. He was meditating in the light of the moon. He liked the moon, it was peaceful and had calm energy.

Energy started to be pulled in his direction. He guided it to his hand that had been insured.

He was sure he shouldn't start the journey with an insured hand, so he put all the energy he had gathered into healing his hand. Just barely in time, he finished healing his hand.

It was unfortunate that earth had this little amount of it. Not many, even in his family could harness this power.

He barely had time for it but he had to do it. He took out a syringe, a container, and two fountain pens with a sheet of paper and placed them at his side. A moment later he put the tip of the needle against his skin and gently pushed it in. After taking some blood he injected some into the fountain pens' container and closed it shut. The rest of the blood was injected into another container. He then dipped the other fountain pen in the blood and started writing on the paper. After finishing his letter, he put it aside to dry. Then he dipped his pen again and started writing in the air.

At the beginning of the night, he thought to contact the elders but had decided against it. He had a few questions for them, but he had found some answers already and those old coots didn't actually know anything more than he did. They would have answered with riddles that didn't make much sense. Once he had decided against that, he only thought of notifying someone in his own family. He could think of only one, who wouldn't straight away come and try to stop him. That was because he knew of a secret that one didn't want to be known, so he basically blackmailed him.

There was a law in the family. If anyone ever found their destiny no one should interfere. A few generations back, the elders had tried to use destiny against a few family members but it had backfired so horribly that many of themselves who tries to force destiny got forced themselves.

Just a short distance away. Kayden was having fun with a few ladies when words started to appear in front of him. He stopped his actions and read the words. Then he pressed his hand on the words, stopping it.

He asked the ladies to continue by themselves, pulled on a robe, and left the room. The words come with him. He sat down in his office and tapped on the words again.

It continued.

He was greatly shocked at what he was reading. How could his little brother suddenly find his destiny? Just a few days ago he finished the Trial of Wilderness and now this? At the end of it, how could he stop him, from telling the rest of the family? His explanation was that he couldn't bear to see them and his destiny's call wouldn't wait any longer as the pain was rising. There was an explanation of where they can find the letter to mother and a few other things. But essentially, this was a letter of goodbye. As he didn't know where his destiny would take him and it didn't look like it would be in this world.
