I CAN'T MARRY HIM

(MATURE CONTENT: BE WARNED) (LESBIAN) "Growing up as a lonely princess hasn't been easy for me." Princess Fen cried out. Her father never gave her a chance to have the thought that she has the right to choose what she wants and what she doesn't. "My father never allowed me to go close to my opposite gender since my childhood. Now he's giving me out to a man I have never seen in my entire life." Princess Fen mumbled in agony. "Women are under the control of men. You don't have the right to decide for yourself." The King said with a scolded voice. Will this marriage stand when her handmaid was always there to pleasure her instead of her husband? Note: The cover photo is not owned by me. 35 IS HE MARRIED?

"What's happening to your sister?" King Zhiyuan asked.

The king of the Luna kingdom, and a father to prince Liang and princess Jia. He has been examining Princess Jia for a few weeks now, but she seems to be unhappy since the day prince Liang attended prince Gen's wedding. King Zhiyuan never asks her because she brings her worries to his table anytime she has any. But now, she's keeping it to herself, and he wondered why she could be behaving strangely. King wasn't happy seeing his only daughter being moody all the time and still refused to speak out. It was eating him up, so he couldn't bear it any longer.

"Approaching her wouldn't be the best. Her brother will be in the best position to explain better to him."

"Father, I don't know why. I have been trying to find out why she had been unhappy, but she didn't say anything." Prince Liang lied to avoid unwanted questions. But his father wouldn't allow him. Rather than pressurizing him to find out the truth.

" Are you sure of what you're saying?" King Zhiyuan asked as he lowered his gaze and placed his forefingers on his jaw.

" Yes, father. I won't be here lying to you if I know the truth." Prince Liang responded nervously as he waited for another question, but only silence followed.

King Zhiyuan was thinking about something, which left Prince Liang confused.

"Is he doubting me?" Prince Liang thought to himself as his conscience judged him.

"Father, what are you thinking about?" He finally broke the silence.

"Hmm…" king Zhiyuan sighed and asked," I'm just wondering how your sister whom you love so much is facing an issue, and you aren't aware of."

"B-But father, she never opened up and told the problem. Am I meant to force her to speak out? No! She knows why she's hiding it. So, I can't force her before she gets angrier." Prince Liang smirked.

"So, you're telling me that she has been moody for almost two weeks now, and yet you couldn't find out the issue? What kind of brother are you? Aren't meant to be ashamed of yourself for not knowing what your sister is passing through, huh? You always claim you love and cherish her as your only sister. Yet, you don't bother about her well-being. Where's the love you always claim you have for her as a sister?" King Zhiyuan yelled at him, but prince Liang tried not to get angry with his father because he was lying to him.

Prince Liang was ever ready to tell his father everything, but he didn't want to. To avoid questions that can't be answered by him. He wanted his father to speak directly to princess Jia and not him. Because she can be able to explain everything to their father. Even the ones she was hiding from him as her brother.

He wouldn't want to be her speaker when she has the mouth to say whatever she feels like saying.

Prince Liang sat speechless as they both stared at each other with his father. He could see the anger in the old man sitting on the throne as his father. After a short period of silence, prince Liang speaks up again.

"Father, hmm… the only thing I can tell you now is to call the princess and ask her yourself. I have tried everything humanly possible, yet, in vain. I wouldn't want to kill myself just because I want to know what's disturbing her peace. If she cares for me as a brother, she won't hide anything from me. Why is she when she knows that we're siblings? Isn't she the one that is supposed to come and meet me so that we can talk about it? Why didn't she? Yet, I went to her, but she still didn't speak out. Will I kill myself."? Prince Liang filled his father's brain with countless questions that would make him not feel like going further with the conversation. On hearing him, king Zhiyuan believed him that he had put an effort into knowing her condition, but she didn't say it.

" Hmm… in that case, I will talk to her myself. You don't need to worry yourself over her. I will handle the situation as a father. I apologize for blaming you." King Zhiyuan said with a calming voice as he relaxed on the throne.

Prince Liang didn't utter a word, instead, he stood up and walked away. Even though he lied to his father, he didn't have any fault either. He was tired of telling princess Jia to stop thinking about prince Gen, but she wouldn't listen. This was because she was blinded with love. Loving someone who doesn't think about you even for a second. She was desperate to have prince Gen by her side.

King Zhiyuan ordered for princess Jia to be brought forth. The guard went to her chamber. He stood by the door and called for her, but she didn't respond.

"Your Highness, His Majesty needs your presence." The guard said once more. As soon as he closed his mouth from saying the statement, she stepped out of the room with an angry face.

"Lead the way." She whispered, but the whispering was enough for the guard to hear her. He bowed and responded, "yes, Your Highness."

He led her to the hall where the king was comfortably sitting.

"Good Morning, father," She greeted.

"Good morning, my lovely princess. The only beautiful princess in the whole universe. No one can be compared to you. You're ten times better than any other woman on earth." King Zhiyuan hails her, but she stands in remorse.

She always blushed and laughed wholeheartedly, but she wasn't showing a sign of happiness. King Zhiyuan abruptly stopped as she didn't react to his praises.

"Please, have a seat, my jewelry." King Zhiyuan extended his hands as he pointed to a seat for her. She lazily walked to the seat and sat down and placed her left hand on her cheek. Sadness was written all over her. No doubt about that.

"What's wrong with you, my angel? Who dares hurt you? Tell me and I will find a solution to it." He softly spoke.

"I wish that it can be solved by another person, but no, no one can." She responded in a low tone with teary eyes.

"What do you mean?"

"Father, this is beyond you. It can only be prince Gen who can provide the solution to my happiness." She answered.

"I'm still in the dark. Are you talking about prince Gen, your brother's friend who just got married a few days ago?" He asked as he got more confused.

It was like someone stabbed her with a knife when her father mentioned marriage.

" Father, is he truly married"?" She raised her gaze towards him.

" Is there an issue about that? Well, your brother informed me about his marriage which he attended a few days ago, but I didn't ask him how the wedding ceremony ended."

Princess Jia was confused and speechless and confused. Prince Liang later told her that prince Gen wasn't married, he was only joking about the marriage. Noe, her father, is talking about his marriage.

" Is prince Liang trying to fool me?" She whispered, but the king still heard her.

" Fool you, how? What are you talking about?"

" Father, I…" she wanted to say something, but she ended it in tears.

" Hey! Hey! You don't have to cry. Calm down and talk to me. I'm your father, I can help." King Zhiyuan said as he climbed down his throne to where she was sitting down.

" Talk to me. What's happening? Is your brother the cause of your sadness, or prince Gen?" King Zhiyuan asked as he took her hands.

" She sobs and refuses to say a word to him."

King Zhiyuan tried to comfort her, but she didn't give in. Instead, she cried her heart out. When princess Jia saw that she couldn't control herself, she ran out of the king's presence to her room and locked it.
