"My beautiful princess, you look cute." Shu admired my dress. Though she was the one that bought it for me, I couldn't wear it that very day.

"Aww, thank you. If not because of you, I wouldn't have been cute the way I am." I responded to her.

"Oh really?" Shuo asked.

Yes, of course.

"Everyone admired the dressing this morning, including my parents. My father asked my mother if she was the one that bought it for me but my mother said no. So when I told him that you got it for me. He was so flabbergasted and happy."

I told Shu and she was surprised that my father complimented on the dress.

Even though Shu was older than me, she never hesitated to obey me. Maybe it's because she is a maiden and I am a princess or maybe she treats me the way a mother should treat her daughter. But my mother never cared about me that much. If I could remember, my mother was always there for me when I was still young but now, she careless about me because she believes that I am a grown-up princess and I can take good care of myself but Shu showed me that I still need a mother's love and she tries everything possible to make me happy all the time. She looks like someone's mother but her skin was still glowing.

Enough talk of Shu. Let me focus on my life.

I sat on a wide tablet stone that was positioned in the garden which looks like a bed.

Shu sat on my left-hand side. The nice smell coming from the garden always makes me spend the whole day sitting without bothering for food, moreover I am not a food addict but I always try my best to eat enough whenever I feel like eating.

I must say that the gardeners always perfume the garden after cleaning it. If not, I wonder how a small garden will have such a sweet smell. They are used to it though, and it's their daily work so I believe they can do the impossible.

"What do you mean?" I asked her.

I replied with a frowned face and when she noticed it, she gave me a faint smile.

"Am sorry my princess, I didn't mean to hurt you." She pleaded and petted my cheeks.

I nodded and smiled at her and she smiled back at me.

"Princess Ai, I heard the king talking to some of his council members at the conference room that, you will be married to a prince of another kingdom but my ears couldn't get the name of the kingdom. And I begin to miss you even when you are still around. Because I know that anytime from now, you will leave me here alone in this big palace." Shu spoke with an affectionate voice.

"Who told you I was leaving?

I'm going nowhere and I'm not marrying any man. Must everyone be married in this world?

I love my life the way it is. This is how he trained me, I mean my father, and I am used to it. Am not ready to change, because I think everyone must not give his parents grandchildren."

Shu sat back on the seat, she hugged and cuddled me.

When news got to princess Fen that the prince didn't come along with the king, she sighed a relief. But she wasn't happy deep down because if the prince's father was here, then it means her father wants her to get married.
