15 THE MARRIAGE

The wedding day, they have been waiting for, was finally here. Everyone was prepared for the wedding.

Princess Fen was dressed in her wedding gown, but there was no sign of happiness in her mind. Her spirit was totally down. Even though Shu was the one that was backing her up not to marry, she was atill the one that dresses princess Fen. She decorated her hair with flowers and did the make-up for her.

All these decorations will be for nothing if she was going to listen to Shu's advice by locking herself inside the room.

Guests were already in the hall waiting for the wedding to commence.

Instrumental sounds can be heard from the hall. People were seen dancing to entertain everyone.

People were chattering in the hall. By looking at the smiles on their faces, you don't need to ask if they are happy because happiness was written all over their faces.

A trumpet was sounded to announce the coming of the groom and his family. Probably, king Wang Lei, prince Gen, and the elders of the Decresh kingdom.

This time, prince Gen was in the caravan with his father and drummers were in between them with the bodyguards that were following them at the back.

The sounds coming out from the drums, flutes, tambourines, and other instrumentals can make a sick man stand up and start dancing. If you join with the songs being sung, it will raise a dead man and can make a deaf man start hearing. Most of the songs were songs that are being sung to praise people from royal families. A song that preaches the unity and greatness of a kingdom.

Princess Fen almost fainted when she heard the trumpet sound. She knew that the prince and his people had arrived.

Shu was still with her in her room.

The dress was just to show the King that she was ready for the marriage, but deep inside of her, she was never ready for any marriage.

King Dingbang and the elders of the Neville kingdom went out to welcome king Wang Lei and his people.

King Dingbang's wife was never allowed to come out so that prince Gen wouldn't see and recognize her. Nothing will stop him from killing king Dingbang. Only his father knew what he passed through when his aunt didn't come back from her trip. Although he was still a young boy, he knew what was evil and good.

King Dingbang led them to the hall as they discussed and laughed together.

After being settled down for the wedding, the anchor of the wedding introduces all the kings in their midst.

Within minutes the wedding ceremony began, and it was time to bring in the bride, but she wasn't showing up.

Several servants were sent to get her, but they kept on bringing the same result.

"She locked her room and she refused to open it." They will always say.

King Dingbang decided to take an excuse from everyone and went to princess Fen's room by himself.

King Dingbang gently knocked on the door at first but when he saw that the princess was not willing to come out, he began to hit the door in full force as if he wanted to break it to pieces.

Everyone waited patiently for the arrival of the princess, when prince Gen got tired of waiting, and the movements of the guests showed that they were also tired of waiting, he went to the princess's room. He found king Dingbang hitting the door with anger, and he rushed to the door and stopped him from forcing himself on the door, so he wouldn't injure himself.

The anger burning in king Dingbang's mind makes him yell at prince Gen, saying, "no injury that will be more painful than what she is doing to me now!"

Prince Gen knew that the king was furious, and he didn't mind the tone he used on him. Instead, he said, "I apologize for that, I believe that she knows why she is acting like this, but I will advise you that you sit with her and iron out everything. Maybe she wants to avoid marrying me, or it might be that she isn't ready for any marriage. I'm pleading with you to calm yourself down."

"Calm down,'' you said, "After the disgrace? Does she want me to lose my respect from other kingdoms that see me as a great king? Does she know what this will cause me?

King Dingbang asked all these questions to prince Gen, and he was even confused about what to say.

They remained silent for a moment, and a crying sound echoed in their ears.

They listened attentively, and the sound seemed to be coming from the princess's room.

She was bitterly crying. She heard everything king Dingbang and prince Gen were discussing, which made her burst into tears.

King Dingbang stared at her door and stared back at prince Gen, and prince Gen also stared at her door and stared back at king Dingbang. They glared at prince Gen as he furrowed his brows.

Instead, the cry of the princess made him pity her but instead, he got angrier.

Prince Gen was speechless. He stood frozen, not knowing what to do.

It appears to be like a drama in the eyes of king Dingbang, but it was happening real, and he couldn't believe that he was even the one these whole things were happening to.

The guests were tired of waiting. Everywhere was getting dark, and it would be dangerous for those that came from far kingdoms. Nevertheless, some were already almost done with the wines and foods set before them. No one was ready to go back with hunger when food was served to them.

King Wang Lei was also tired of waiting. The food wasn't his problem because he just finished a jar of wine and a plate of meat before he began to think of going to check on his son and king Dingbang.

When he stood up, he almost fell because he was drunk, but thank God for his bodyguard who supported him.

He asked the bodyguards to lead him to where his son was, which they did.

Prince Gen was shocked to see his father drunk, and King Dingbang was shocked to see him in such a condition when his son was here, struggling with what he had planned for him.

Prince Gen couldn't stand to see his father in such a condition, and it will soon be dark, so he told king Dingbang not to worry himself because the whole issue will be resolved another day.

He ordered his guards to get ready to take off. He hugged king Dingbang, and king Dingbang hugged him back and kissed his cheek. They told each other goodbye and king Dingbang told the prince to take perfect care of his father and should plead with him on his behalf, and prince Gen promised to do so.

When king Dingbang went back to the hall, he was surprised to see the hall empty. Even the instrumentalists were tired of playing, and everywhere was quiet.

He counted that day as the most humiliating day ever. Only the ancestors knew what he would do to Princess Fen.

The agreement they had can never be broken because of the consequences. Prince Gen was the main issue here. Killing prince Gen wasn't his problem, but he won't get anything by doing that, instead, it will bring an endless battle between the two kingdoms. He was ready to maintain peace and unity with his neighborhood kingdom instead of fighting them.

King Dingbang stood in the middle of the hall as he kept staring at every angle of it. He was just wondering how the celebration could have been instead of ending like this.

He began to regret kidnapping king Wang Lei's sister and making her his wife. King Dingbang began to miss the time he always had s×x every day with different women.
