Chapter 1 - "Can you talk after death?"

The chapter starts with an 10 year old story where a young child named Sahap is seen performing annual exam preparation with his teacher in a coaching center alongside the river. His father came to receive him within a boat. While returning in a boat with his father, his father drowns in the river and dies. The young child is emotionless and it is shown that the child used poison to kill his father. The story moves on to the present, where a forensics expert, Ajmol Ahmed, is shown teaching at to his students in FBI headquarter. Later on he is shown doing some discussion with his wife Jessica, discussing to leave his job as a teacher in FBI, something which he deeply regrets. Meanwhile, in Bangladesh, a murderer kills a woman badly and her charred body is found by the local area people the next day with a mask, whose autopsy is performed by Nahid Khan, a senior forensic expert in the RAB. The post-mortem of the murder reveals that a serial killer is on a murder spree, in which Nahid's mother is also included.
