Successful assassination

William kept on moving forward, he was very excited. He never thought he would be able to avenge his parents. Not even a month had passed since William met the devil and he was already able to get revenge. Everyone would be excited in such a moment, he could finally avenge his parents.

The guy who couldn't even defend himself about a month ago, was now a dangerous person capable of assassinating a noble. This was insane for William, a lot of time passed by in the other world, but he still felt like his life took a turn. He only visited the other world once and it changed his life drastically. How much would it change if he went two or three more times?

But William didn't have much time to think about such matters. He had an assassination to attend to. This would show how far he would be able to go in the future. If he fails here then he would have never amounted to much, If he succeeds then he would rise like a phoenix. He would become a person feared by nobility, and loved by the people.

He could see the door leading to the bedchambers of the Stoneguard family. This moment was the deciding factor for everything, his heart pounded like it would burst out of his chest. He has probably never been so excited. The only thing stopping him from assasinating his enemies was a door and a few guards, but that wasn't merely enough to stop William.

He kept moving forward. The guards yelled out to stop, but he didn't care he waited until he was in combat range and swiftly killed them with a punch. The only thing stopping him now was the door, he wanted to open the door but it wouldn't budge. So he kicked it open, it made a loud bang possibly alarming all nearby guards. William didn't pay attention, he was too excited and it clouded his train of thought.

Mister and mistress Stoneguard woke up by the noise, they looked at William screamed out for help but it was too late for them. By the time that they realized what happened they were already on the floor. William had shot two arrows at them, giving them no chance to retaliate. They were only nobles with no fighting abilities. For William they were simply ants, they were stronger then the average human, but if they wanted to put up a fight against William then they had a long way to go. The couple died without even being able to put up a fight.

At that moment William realized what he did wrong, he had been too loud. The guards and the expert would soon be here. He had to run away now. He quickly jumped out of the window and ran for his life. His legs were hurting from falling from such a height, but thanks to his strong body he was still able to move.

The expert soon appeared in the bedchambers. He was full of rage, his clients were killed right under his nose. He couldn't tolerate it, so he started to tail the assasin. He had to climb out the window simply because the fall was too high. His plan was to surround William with guards and attack him together with them. But at this moment he knew that he wouldn't be able to do that, by jumping out the window William had created a large gap of distance between them.

But the expert was still confident in his speed, he ran as fast as possible after climbing out. The distance between the two got smaller and smaller. They had already left the city walls at this point. They kept running and soon entered a forest, They both had troubles running at their top speed to get into the forest. The expert had more experience and so quickly caught up with William.
