In the novel, a full-power blow from a level 7 spirit warrior was said to have the power to crush a mortal like an ant.
Of course, such a devastating display of strength had never actually occurred.
After all, in "The Great Conquer," Quinlan wasn't forced into a situation where he had to kill a mortal when he was only a spirit warrior, nor was there any such scenario mentioned in the novel.
