He was even reprimanded by the king because of this. How could he not hate them?
"How dare they play me like that? I am going to kill them. I am going to kill them all!"
The more he raged, the more he lost control over his soul power.
The uncontrolled soul power escaped his arcane heart and distorted the air around him.
"Save your fury for later, Nerroj," the king advised. "You'll get the chance to let it out pretty soon."
Nerroj took a deep breath, calming himself down to the best of his ability and managing to regain some semblance of control.
"Yes, Your Majesty. My apologies," he muttered, his gaze still burning with anger but now restrained for later use.
