Chapter 40 Mister bear.

Above her was the stunning night sky, filled with beautiful stars and below her a loving mother yelling to her many awkward good-byes.

"Good luck baby girl! Mommy will be rooting for you! And remember to stay safe and remember to stay away from perverts! And if you meet some sweet boy then be sure to introduce him to me before you do anything too hasty! After all a mother must know if her baby girls future husband is a good man worthy of making babies with her and reliable of course!"

With each word her mother spoke Lili could feel her face heating up more and more with embarrassment. For whatever reason when her mother spoke of making babies, the first thing that came to her mind was that arrogant Art or that traitorous, but good looking boy Robin doing it with her. But mostly it was that boy named Art that kept invading her thoughts.

With haste she quickly climbed to escape the embarrassing words. Coming close to the top, Lili grabbed a hold of the ledge and stuck her head out the top to have a quick look around.

Around her she could see a forest full of beautiful trees that's roots and surroundings were filled with many colourful and beautiful flowers. Around the well there was a path made of smooth and nicely trimmed grass, and from the well the grass trail split into four different paths of grass.

The surroundings around her stood in complete silence and only her mom's voice could still be heard.

Seeing no signs of danger or people for that matter, Lili then decided to climb out the well. Then like a parkour, little ninja she hopped out of the well and landed with a soft roll on the grass.

Once more she looked around, listened and waited, but nothing of significance could be heard. At best she might have heard a girls scream in the distance, but it was hard to tell. The sound seemed to be coming from somewhere further behind the trees and the light rustling of bushes that was caused by the light night breeze in the air.

Feeling alarmed by this Lili quickly looked down the well and to her mothers eyes as she said her goodbyes.

"Ok mom, It looks to be clear up here so I'll be going now. Just stay down there and wait for me, I'll be back as soon as I can with plenty of good news and food for you. Just don't worry about me. Love you mom, bye!"

To Lili it was never easy to say goodbye in these types of situations. She so wished that they could just stick together, but sadly they couldn't. And so she left her worried mother in the well. As she walked away she still could hear her mothers I love yous echoing out of the well behind her.

Now left alone and without any real directions to go-to she focused on the sound of the crying girl in the distance, or more specifically it sounded like two girls fighting.

Turning towards the bickering sounds Lili then started walking along one of the grassy paths towards them. Nonetheless she made sure not to be to hasty in her approach and so she slowly and quietly went towards the sounds, after all bickering girls could sometimes be quiet scary.

Then as she got closer she started to make out the two distinct sounds. Both were quite soothing to the ears. Although one sounded distressed, a bit higher pitched and on the verge of tears as she yelled.

"Nooooooo! Eadlin, give me back mister bear! You can't treat him like so, you'll hurt him!"

After this Lili heard the other voice speak. This one didn't sound so high-pitched, it was a bit more mature as it spoke almost as if it were annoyed as it said.

"To hell with mister bear. It's high time for you to let go of this childish little thing. With big brother and father not around, it's falls upon us to keep our home standing. You can't keep acting like a little girl forever!"

Walking closer towards the two sounds, Lili then started to see what looked like a beautiful lake in the distance behind some bushes. The lake seemed to be standing perfectly still in the night, as it magnificently reflected the starry night sky upon it's surface. And there at the lakeshore, close to a wooden bench she could see two dark figures. Both looked to be girls in their teenage years with thin figures and beautiful golden blonde hair.

The smaller of the two figures was right up against the taller one as she tried to grab at something that the taller one held up in the air.

Then the shorter girl placed her hands upon her hips and looked up at the taller girl as she said.

"Liar! You're just jealous that brother gave mister bear to me on my birthday instead of you!"

Suddenly the more mature sounding girls voice became high pitched as she yelled to the smaller girl!

"What, as if? Just watch me! I don't need this childish, stupid little thing! Hi jaa!"

As she yelled this out loud the thing in her hands went flying towards the lake. Seeing this the smaller girl yelled in distress.

"No Mister bear!

Then with a hard splash the thing most likely called mister bear landed in the water. The smaller girl went running to the lake shore and fell to her knees as she yelled to the water.

"Nooooo! Mister bear! No!"

The taller girl seemed to hesitate for a moment on what to do, but she quickly then crossed her arms huffed at the smaller girl and said.

"See I'm not jealous, not at all."

Then the taller girl stormed off leaving the little girl sobbing at the lake side, alone.

Just then Lili walked past the bushes and trees and came to the grassy lakeside from where she walked around it to the crying girls side.

Was it smart to outright go and talk to this girl? What if this girl figured out that she was a slave and then reported her to the guards? Although with her face now fully healed and all pretty like such, she figured that not even the guards at the prison or Ratbag for that matter would still be able to say that it was her. No way could they ever figure out that the one eyed girl and disfigured girl had suddenly become so cute, and without any scars.

Lili felt a little conflicted on this matter, but then again there just was no way that she would leave a young, innocent and a beautiful girl like this one crying on her own in the dark. No, she couldn't just ignore such a sight, her consciousness just wouldn't let such a thing happen.

And so she got in close, crouched down and softy spoke to the girl as she said.

"You ok?"

The girl seemed to hear her words as she paused her sobbing for a second, but she didn't turn to her and then just continued sobbing as she said.

"No, I'm not ok! I didn't take brothers swimming lessons as he said that I should have and now I can't do anything to save mister bear. Big brother entrusted mister bear to my care and I couldn't protect him."

Hearing this Lili felt a bit alarmed. She figured that mister bear was most likely a toy of some kind, but this girl talked of it so preciously so now she didn't know what to believe. Was mister bear a real bear cub or something, she wondered as she said.

"Mmm well if it helps, I could try and get mister bear for you in the morning when it's light out and I can see underwater better. I'm sure mister bear can last that long, right?"

Suddenly then the girl stood up and turned to Lili with tiers and anger upon her face. Seeing this Lili felt her heart skip a beat, the girl looked to be the same age as her, and yet she was at least 20 centimetres taller than she was.

Then in anger the girl yelled to Lili and said.

"No, he can't! His going to die soon! Brother said that It only takes an adult struggling in water for about three minutes before things go bad. But a child can only last for less than thirty seconds underwater. Brother said that you should immediately take action to rescue a drowning person, but I can't. I'm too scared. Mister bear is only a few years old, his not going to make it."

Now Lili felt extremely concerned, her Police instincts instantly kicked in as she stood up, took off her cloak and then without a word needing to be said she jumped in the lake.

With a splash she entered the cool water of the lake. Sadly the moon and the stars didn't light up her way too much and so she was forced to take out her light stone from in between her breasts where she always kept them.

With light stone in hand her way was lit and there in the dark distance she immediately spotted two bright glows of something shiny. Curious of this she then headed towards the glow and as she came in closer she quickly realised that it was not only a singular glow, but three different glows reflecting the light of her stone.

There in the darkness of the lakes floor she saw there a cute stuffed teddy bear with a butlers outfit and blood red rubies for its eyes and nose. Its two stunning blood red ruby eyes were shimmering beautifully in the darkness as they reflected the light of Lilis light stone as the blood red ruby that was its nose did the same.

Seeing this Lili couldn't help but wonder, was this truly the mister bear that the girl was so worried about. But as she saw nothing else here, she just thought oh well and then took the stuffed bear with herself and swam to the surface.

The bear was fully soaked through, making it heavy, but thanks to her muscle training she was able to easily swim to the surface. And, as she emerged close to the lakes shore she noticed the girl sitting there on her knees, waiting expectantly for her bear.

Tossing the bear to the girl Lili could immediately see the girls eyes light up In joy as she caught the bear and said.

"Oh mister bear, you came back! I was so worried about you, thank god you're ok!"

Climbing out of the lake and onto the dry grass Lili was now completely soaked through. To Lilis great embarrassment, her already thin and almost nonexistent clothes were now pressing against her skin and leaving almost nothing to the imagination.

But at least she could find comfort in the fact that she had at least managed to do one good deed for the day as one should always do everyday, even if that deed might have been quite insignificant.

Nonetheless she felt quite good about herself as she saw a big smile on girls face as hugged her mister bear. Looking at the girl she also couldn't help but notice that this girl had quite a clean and pretty appearance compared to every other girl she had seen so far in this world.

The girls skin looked silky smooth, pristine and a healthy milky white. The girl looked as if she had never had to do a single day's worth of work like all other girls had to do in this medieval world. Also her face was quite pretty. Lili couldn't help but compare herself to this girl, but as she did she felt quite relieved in saying that she herself most definitely had a prettier and more feminine face than this girl had. Plus her own eyes were a stunning deep blue colour which seemed quite rare in this world, while this girl only had regular looking blue eyes, which wasn't as pretty as deep blue in her own opinion.

But then there was the fact that this girl also had quite a pretty white dress with long sleeves and high-quality gold trimmings and lace details in it. And the girl also had what looked like freaking golden dragon earrings, which to Lilis eyes looked quite cool.

For a moment Lili felt a sting of jealousy rise up in herself. She couldn't understand how such a young girl had so many fine things, but most of all she couldn't understand why was this girl so much taller than she was? But quickly Lili managed to calm herself down.

Thinking back upon the tree in the greenhouse, Lili remembered its kindness and purity. And as she did so she pushed her own impure thoughts of greed and jealousy away.

And as she did so she started to feel a genuine smile coming upon her face as she thought of how lucky and blessed this girl must have been in her life. She truly felt happy in knowing that this other girl was happy and that she hadn't had to suffer like so many other unfortunate girls such as herself had suffered in this life.

With this in mind Lili put on her cloak back on and walked to the girl and softly spoke to her as she said.

"Are you ok now? Is mister bear ok?"

Hearing this the girl happily nodded her head and said.

"Yeah I'm good now and I think mister bear is also feeling pretty good. He wasn't underwater for that long so I think its fine now."

Hearing this Lili felt relieved knowing that one girls night had at least been saved.

Then the taller girl stood up and to Lilis surprise came to give her a big hug as she said.

"Thank you."

As the tall girl, mister bear and Lili hugged all hugged, Lilis head was pressed right against the taller girls chest. For a few seconds the hug lasted and in that time Lili noticed that this girl had quite a flat chest, compared to her own busty chest. And, for a moment she felt that this was good, she had won, but quickly she regained control of herself and shook the bad thoughts away.

Breaking away from the hug the taller girl then dropped mister bear as if she had just totally forgotten about it, as she then grabbed Lilis smaller hands and excitedly said.

"Wow, you're so pretty and yet I don't think I have ever seen you here before? Did you just start working as a maid here? What's your name? Who are you assigned to? Ooh I know, maybe I could ask mother if she'd be willing to assign you to be my personal maid, then we could play together everyday. I'm sure mister bear would approve, after all your now his saviour."

Hearing this Lili was taken aback. By the looks of the situation it appeared that she might have just entered this, most likely rich girls backyard without permission. She was essentially just caught trespassing and if caught she would be most likely thrown back into slavery for this offence.

Her logical side was telling her to lie to this naive girl and tell her that, yes she was a maid here on her first day of work. Maybe this girl could get her a maid outfit as a disguise and then she could sneak on out if here before anything bad happened.

But Lilis heart wouldn't let herself do such a thing to this girl. She just couldn't lie to her, that just felt so wrong.

And so Lili nervously said.

"Hihi, thank you for the compliment, you're also quite pretty yourself. I bet you've got quite a pretty name, maybe you could tell it to me. I my self am Lili. And yes its just Lili, nothing more and I'm not employed here or anything like that. You see I'm actually a bit lost right now. I was looking for a way out of the sewers and by chance I ended up coming here. I have no Idea where I am right now. Could you maybe help me with that?"

For a moment the girl looked at Lili suspiciously which made Lili feel quite nervous. But then the girl just said.

"Ooh, I see how it is. Well don't worry Lili your secrets safe with me. But in return I want you to just call me Aileen, ok. I don't like it when people use my full title to address me, its way too formal."

Hearing this Lili felt relieved, but then the girl named Aileen placed her hands upon her hips and arrogantly said.

"And since you're not employed as a maid here yet, I here by humbly ask of you to become my personal maid. And I will not take a no for an answer. So what do you say Lili? Will you become my maid?"

Once more Lili was taken a back by the girls words. Sure she wanted to become a maid and all that, but did she just get threatened? To her ears it definitely sounded like a threat, although she wasn't sure since the girl was still so young. Surely a young girl like her wouldn't be threatening others like that, right. As she thought of this Lili couldn't help but feel intimidated by the girl. It seemed that her past self's experiences weren't wrong, girls truly could be quite scary. Now she definitely didn't want to piss off this rich girl in fear of being hunted down and enslaved again. And so Lili hesitantly said.

"O, o ok, I guess. I, I I mean yes, I wi-will become your maid? If that's what you want, that is."

Hearing this the girl cheerfully clapped her hands together, took mister bear in her one hand and took a hold of Lilis smaller hand with force as she said.

"Ooh, yeih this is so great. Come on Lili let's go meet mother and make it official then."

Without waiting for an answer the girl then started to drag Lili by her hand. Lili wanted to say something but was completely taken off guard by the girls strength. It felt like Accalia herself in her trained human form was dragging her along.

How was this possible, she could have sworn that she was the stronger of the two. Sure this girl was taller, but Lili had been training so diligently for the past few years. How could this be, did this girl have some massive hidden muscles under that dress or what? Or was it the fact that most of Lilis development seemed to be focused on giving her nice legs, a big butt, a toned and thin waist with big tits on top? Why was this girl so much stronger?

Now Lili started to feel really worried, it truly seemed that she was becoming this girls personal maid no matter what she might have thought of it.

With this in mind Lili couldn't help, but ask.

"But why me? We just met, you don't even know anything about me or my qualifications?"

Hearing this Aileen didn't slow down her pace as she simply showed Lili a happy toothy smile and said.

"Because you're cute, like mister bear."

For the third time now Lili was completely taken a back, not understanding what the girl ment as she said.

"Wa wa, whhaaat?"
