Xu Ye said with a smile, shaking his head.
"Almost everyone at our company already knows about this. If you don't believe me, you're welcome to check for yourself."
After these words, the others at the negotiation table didn't dare to even take a breath.
They didn't know what their boss was discussing; other than contract negotiations, they were clueless about what else to talk about.
This silence lasted a full three minutes, during which time both men were looking at the contracts in their hands, occasionally catching each other's gaze.
By unspoken agreement, neither of them initiated conversation as if it were a psychological tug-of-war.
Eventually, Xu Ye could not hold back any longer and spread the contract on the negotiation table.
"If President Lu is still interested in continuing this project with our company, then we can further discuss the terms. However, it's getting late today. Let's talk another day. I'll take my leave."
