A Storm Is Coming!

Lucifer started cursing in his mind,

"Oh shit here we go again."

Although Lucifer wanted to leave he knew with the gaze Ceasar was looking at him that outcome had less chance of happening so he calmed down and nodded towards Ceasar to continue.

"Mr. Lucifer is smart indeed very well I will also be sincere in that case." Ceasar then placed the cup of tea which he was drinking on the table and continued with a serious gesture.

"There has been a certain phenomenon occurring on Planet Zero... Mother Earth as you may know. All I require is for you to head there and report back to me from time to time. Also as we are the closest to the planet there wont be any external threats or other groups interfering with your task."

Lucifer furrowed his brows and questioned,

"well then isn't this the best time to use those blokes standing behind you, why ask me?"

Ceasar gave hearty laugh and continued,

"Mr Lucifer my men are undoubtedly powerful but electro magnetic interference on the planet is releasing an EMP pulse every micro second capable of stopping all electric and Solacite particle functions"

After which Ceasar gave a nod towards the guards behind him and they lifted their sleeves displaying their metallic arms.

Lucifer nodded understandingly but there was still an unrest in his heart.

Looking at the slight hesitation of Lucifer Ceasar tactfully continued,

"the reward if the mission is successful will be 10 Billion Credits and a Nobility title of Knight"

Lucifer gasped the title of nobility was not something which could be bought with credits worth even billions. Although Being a knight means serving the Empire but for lucifer whose only aim was to enjoy life at its fullest this was one of best possible reward. Lucifer finally gave in although there was unrest in his heart but afterall higher the risk, higher the reward and he knew that very well.

Lucifer smiled and replied,

"Mr.Ceasar looks like we have an agreement"

Ceasar gave a bright smile and shook Lucifer's Hand,

"Mr Lucifer for the mission we will provide all the gears and as we can't contact you after you land all instructions and objectives should be memorised by you before hand."

Lucifer nodded then one of the guards lead Lucifer outside for prep work.

After Lucifer left Ceasar sat down, his back was completely drenched with sweat. Ceasar sighed after recalling what happened a day ago when he was contacted by William Baltimore the Count of Sigma directly.

Baltimore had strictly ordered him to collect as mush as possible valuable data and send it back to him. Ceasar although he had lived for more than a hundred years this was his first time experiencing such horrid fear after meeting that man. It was then that he finally knew that it wasn't him being always lucky enough to evade the government it was just that the higher ups couldn't care less about him.

Ceasar knew the only reason he was given this task was because he was the closest to the planet and had considerably manpower even if he was an illegal weapons trader.

Since then Ceasar had sent countless teams down there to collect valuable data but no one came back alive the reason being the radioactive decay due to highly energised solacite particles. A man could only survive for 3 hours and send only 2 reports of data after landing.

Ceasar had no choice but to sacrifice all he could although he and Lucifer never had any conflict with each other but it was better to send outsiders than his own men.

Ceasar sighed and murmured, "R.I.P my friend"

Agni, The Capital City of Sigma Realm

Garden of Eden.

There was nothing but grassland as far as one could see. Bright sunshine and dew drops were all that sat on the grass.

A man was moving his arms in a fluid manner without any sign of force or intensity in them, all one could see was smooth fluidity. But the most shocking part was each fluid moment of his hands created spacial tears that didn't disappear for a long time. The whole area was filled with such wavy tears.

But suddenly the man paused his actions as he turned towards around where unknowingly a man had appeared as if teleported directly.

'what was so important that you disturbed me Jeffrey?"

Jeffrey the man with all white fluttering robes with a golden monocle glass over his sharp golden eyes respectfully bowed and continued.

"my Lord we have found a Magic particle frequency of unprecedented value in enormous quantity being released from Planet Zero"

Roth widened his eyes and his breathing became uneven but he soon calmed down and ordered,

"Immediately send our men to investigate the phenomenon but tell them not to interfere with anything I just want reports and updates while I head there personally….. Also request the emperor to grant me an audience with him as soon as possible."

Jeffrey bowed slightly and vanished on the spot while Roth Soloman stood there looking at the sky and shook his head after reminiscing about something and left.
