"Congratulations! You finally awakened, mangekyou sharingan," said Setsuna to Kagami.

"Sensei, how?" asked Kagami.

"It was because of this machine," Setsuna pointed out, the machine that Kagami has been using. "It created another illusion and made your five senses fall into that illusion."

"Sensei, that means you let me see Chino die?" asked Kagami with anger.

Seeing him like this made Setsuna sighed. "Many people view our clan as an evil clan because of these eyes." Setsuna changed his eyes into mangekyou sharingan. "But Uchiha is a clan that knows love better than anyone, and the proof is our eyes. I awakened these eyes when my brother died on the battlefield. Only by losing something that we love will our brain develop a special chakra that can awaken mangekyou sharingan."

"That means you did this for me to awaken these eyes," asked Kagami while his finger pointing into his eyes. 

"You are correct, I wanted you to become strong enough to protect Chino." Setsuna mentions Chino to calm Kagami. It works, Kagami became a bit soft after hearing what Setsuna said about Chino.

"Thank you, Sensei," even though he felt angry earlier, but after knowing it was to protect Chino, he felt grateful. 

"Don't be happy yet; Mangekyou Sharingan is not invincible. The more you use this power, the faster you will become blind," warned Setsuna.

"Blind? But Sensei, your eyes," questioned Kagami.

"These eyes are not mangekyou sharingan but eternal mangekyou sharingan. I won't become blind by overusing it," stated Setsuna. 

 "How?" asked Kagami.

"To gain eternal mangekyou sharingan, you need to transplant your siblings eyes, which have evolved to mangekyou sharingan. In my case, my brother died in the last war, and indeed, I use those eyes and transplant them into my own. That is why my eyes are stronger than anyone except Madara," said Setsuna.

"But I don't have any siblings, and my parents have grown old," said Kagami. His parents married late because of constant war, they don't want to get married until they eventually fall in love and get married at the age of 45. 

"Remember, to gain eternal mangekyou sharingan, it is not by swapping eyes. But by transplanting your siblings eyes, if both users have agreed to exchange eyes, only one person can gain eternal mangekyou sharingan. The other person eyes might degenerate and becomes normal sharingan, or in the worst case, it becomes normal eyes.

"If I'm not mistaken, you can use your eyes for a full day before becoming blind, that is why you shouldn't overuse them," warned Setsuna.
