Slaughtering Dragons Safe Zone!

After opening the message a few moments ago, Oblivion closed it. He had already read everything long before a second had passed. But, his mind was still dwelling on the contents of the message.

He who previously didn't think too highly of his family suddenly painted them in a mysterious light as thought.

'Why wasn't there a mention of my father? Is he dead? Impossible... Maybe, he simply is soo strong that he would never place me in his eyes!'

Sigh!

Sensing his thoughts going wild, Oblivion heaved a sigh. 'My mind isn't focused!' He thought before closing his eyes and beginning to meditate once more.

...

A Few Hours Later...

Opening his eyes which now contained an unnatural calmness within them, Oblivion's floating body landed on the surface.

A calm smile surfaced on his face. After beginning his path of comprehending Nothingness, he had appeared on infinitely expanding pristine white steps.

For the first few tens of steps, it was extremely easy. This must have been thanks to the onslaught he had previously gone on after now appearing in this forest.

After awakening from his meditation, he sensed his cultivation base had increased slightly.

...

[Power Level: Level 1 Mid-Level Earth Immortal]

[Pure Combat Power: Level 3 Peak Profound Immortal]

...

There was the confirmation. It seemed that this system had sensed the change his body had just undergone.

'The reason my combat power hasn't raised along with my cultivation is most likely because of the sudden strength gain one undergoes after entering the fourth level."

"It'll be the same four the seventh level too." Oblivion thought.

'Anyway... I'm much more interested in...' Oblivion thought while closing his eyes.

...

"This..." Oblivion mumbled in a stupor as his consciousness appeared floating inside a white space.

"This is my Mind Domain. Much different to others it would seem..." Oblivion uttered while remembering how Saber's Mind Domain looked. There was a whole world in Saber's own, while he had nothing.

Sigh!

There wasn't much to look at. He had previously thought there would be something special, but there wasn't anything at all.

...

'Hmm...' Oblivion's thoughts churned while he leisurely strolled through the forest. He was heading in a random direction. He hoped to run into some lifeforms, but he wasn't in a rush. His mind was preoccupied after all.

'Now that I am unable to use any element nor energy, techniques of this cosmos are useless to me.

'The Deity Palm technique is useless unless I master it and mechanize it to suit me.'

'The energy it uses would need to be Nothingness instead and the element, nothingness too.'

'But the only way to change anything to do with this technique I'll first need to enter the realm above the True Immortal realm.' Oblivion said in his mind. Thereafter, he stretched his right hand in front of him as a sword with a golden hilt and dark red blade appeared.

"You're the key. The key to using other elements!" Oblivion said whilst the blade in his hand glimmered with a bright light as if accepting its responsibilities.

If it had sentience, it definitely would have liked Oblivion more than Saber.

Unlike Saber who also devoured his opponent, Oblivion simply would use Annihilation which obliterated the consciousness and dissipates the soul of his targets into nothingness.

The body of his targets can be absorbed into the Sword.

Oblivion was about to go on mass slaughter, and this sword would be used in the main attack.

The Sword itself seemed to understand this and vibrated in Oblivion's hand as if it was budding with anticipation and excitement.

...

Inside the Heavenly Mystic Domain, there couldn't be only violence.

There had to be some sort of order, otherwise, things would be out of control.

Since the Heavenly Mystic Domain was open to the thousands of different Galaxies filled with living Human beings...

There were also plentiful organizations that formed what they proclaimed as "Safe Zones"

For new players, and also for those who weren't interested in the killing and only came for the enhanced Energy, these Safe Zones were rather valuable to them.

In one of the many Safe Zones scattered across the Heavenly Mystic Domain, a figure made his appearance as he exited the final outer areas of the forest and entered a dirt trail.

...

Following the dirt trail, Oblivion made his way toward a massive wall running hundreds of meters across the land. The dirt trail had led him to a massive gate that was open. Over the gate, and on the wall, the letters "Slaughtering Dragons Safe Zone!"

'Whoever came up with that name seemed to have wanted to look imposing. Even an exclamation mark...' Oblivion thought with a smirk. The gate was tens of meters tall and another ten meters wide, and on each side was a figure in silver armor and a spear in hand.

Oblivion's eyes met with one of the guards while he entered the Safe Zone. The guard remained unmoved as his body seemed to have been frozen in place. Though surprised that there wasn't a fee to pay to enter the city, Oblivion entered without hesitation anyway.

'At least there are some reasonable organizations in this place.' Oblivion thought. But, because his information about Heavenly Mystic Domain was lacking, he didn't realize that under regular situations, one is supposed to pay a price.

...

"Huh? Did you see what I just saw?!" The guard who had a shining bald head uttered as his body finally moved an inch after being shocked in place for a few moments. His partner wasn't any better as he also suddenly felt his muscles finally release some tension.

In the moments their eyes landed on Oblivion's figure, their muscles relaxed soo much that they were seemingly paralyzed, unable to move them.

"Yeah... If you just saw an incredibly beautiful succubus, then we bought saw the same thing!" The guard with a silver helmet on his head replied, causing his friend to quickly question.

"Succubus? It was a male that had just past us was it not?" The man with a helmet looked at his partner and shook his head in disappointment. "Of course, it wasn't a man. Can a man make your blood boil like that? Well, unless you swing that way!"

'It seems he is in denial.' The bald man thought. He knew his friend, and also knew that this friend believed himself as the most appealing man in existence. Anything more attractive is automatically a female for him.

Shaking his head, the bald man then focused on his job once more only for his friend to interrupt his focus again as he asked.

"Did that woman pay?"

The bald man's expression froze once again but he quickly recomposed himself and said.

"It seems not. But don't worry, the next person to come here, we'll charge them double."

...

Entering the city, Oblivion looked to his right where he saw an exquisitely designed building.

Though it was ordinary in terms of size, only about tens of feet tall, Oblivion felt multiple powerful auras inside the building.

He was immediately attracted to it. Compared to all the other buildings in his vicinity, this one was many times more attractive to Oblivion's eyes.

Walking up to the door, the black doors slid open by themselves as the inside was revealed to Oblivion's hidden surprise.

Even though his face remained expressionless, Oblivion was slightly surprised by the interior which was many times larger than what it appeared from the outside.
