Chapter 180: Trickster Vs Gold (Part 1)

Humph!!

"If I had my true body, not merely this 10 kilometers but instead, this whole city would be flattened by my power..!"

It seemed he had dared to think that his little sneak attack had taken care of this contender...

"But, still, isn't this kind of too easy?" Dawn muttered. His guard was completely down since he thought there weren't any contenders alive. He was only waiting for the Virtual Reality System to send him to the real world.

Because he hadn't previously defeated any opponent before, he wasn't aware of the notice that would appear in front of his eyes, right after defeating an opponent.

"Huh?!" And just as he was in utter confusion, his battle-honed senses suddenly perceived something deadly, quickly approaching his location..!

'To think this person would be soo arrogant and relaxed even after finding out that the body they destroyed wasn't my true body!'

On a rooftop tens of kilometers away, a woman with blonde hair and black eyes gazed with a slightly annoyed expression toward Dawn, who stood in the middle of a deep crater, and with a relaxed expression, seemingly thinking that he had already grasped victory.

'With such a haughty opponent, this shouldn't be that much of a prolonged battle... Especially for, a trickster like me.' She thought. Right after, she outstretched her hand and pointed it toward Dawn, as hovering in front of her palm was a ball of condensed energy that slowly began releasing a more powerful and deadly aura.

"Kekeke..."

The blonde woman smirked seductively, and even though she hadn't meant to look soo attractive, it couldn't be helped, she was, after all, a great beauty.

Swoosh!

The ball of energy quickly became a beam of light that traveled at an incredible speed of tens of kilometers per second as it approached Dawn, aiming to obliterate him instantly.

"What's this?!" Dawn exclaimed in amazement and shock. Approaching him was a beam of light that in mere milliseconds, would contact him. The power radiating from it would be enough to pulverize his current body if he let it contact him head-on!

But, of course, Dawn wasn't stupid enough to actually let it contact him without protection. And seeing it approaching, Dawn waved his hand lightly, as thereafter...

RUMBLE!

BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!

Shooting out from the ground were many pieces of steel and iron that, under a resplendent golden aura that was naturally released from Dawn, would undergo an instant evolution! Instantly, the many pieces of steel transformed into a more powerful golden metal that then wrapped around Dawn, forming an incredibly appealing armor!

From head to toe, Dawn was covered in golden armor, and with a golden hammer in hand, his cold eyes flashed with a cruel light as he rose the hammer to the skies, before slamming it back down, and into the surface underneath his feet!

*BOOM!!*

With apocalyptic power, the surface was instantly crushed as a massive canyon went on to form from the destruction of the road surface. Springing out of this canyon were many beams of metal that were already golden, and radiated intense power.

Rushing into the beam of energy, Dawn watched in confusion as the beam of energy was easily dispersed into smoke. Unlike others, Dawn wasn't the least bit happy after seeing his attack soo easily neutralizing the attack from his hidden opponent.

'The power which I previously sensed from that beam of energy shouldn't have been so easily blocked by this attack of mine. Turning into smoke, merely from the contact of my attack... This, shouldn't this be impossible unless...'

As he analyzed the situation more, his expression became darker and darker.

"This shouldn't be impossible unless that attack was a fake..."

Suddenly a voice entered Dawn's ear. A voice came from a few meters behind Dawn, causing him to jump away in shock. Twisting his body mid-air, so as to get a view of the newly appearing opponent, what came to his sight was a boot that inched closer to his face!

BOOM!!

CRACK!

Instantly, Dawn was sent flying away hundreds of meters from the kick to his face. A kick that was so powerful that his face armor abruptly cracked, revealing his above-average attractive face.

BAM!!

Crashing to the ground, Dawn immediately got a grip as he slowed his momentum, and right after got to his feet, as he prepared to face this new opponent. Yet, to his surprise, Dawn was unable to see anyone at the location from which he had just been attacked.

"Oh, are you looking for me..."

Once more, to Dawn's shock, behind him was the voice of the blonde woman. Instinctively, Dawn sent a back kick, and at the sole of his feet, the golden armor suddenly extended, and a golden blade formed.

His intention was clear, whoever was behind him, even if they reacted to his kick and jumped back, this unsuspecting sneak attack with a blade, would stab through his opponent's body, ending the battle right away.

*PUCHI!*

The sound of flesh being penetrated entered Dawn's ear. 'Huh? It actually worked?!' Dawn thought in welcome shock. Retracting the blade, Dawn then turned around, where he then saw a beautiful blonde woman with an astonished expression.

Though unsuccessfully, she covered the wound on her neck with her palm. The wound though was easily a fatal one, and she uncontrollably stammered back, before dropping to her backside.

Urgh!

Groaning in pain, she couldn't help stopping the blood from spurting from her wound. With a relieved expression, Dawn walked up to her as he raised his hand pointing it to the skies before a hammer shockingly landed in his grip.

BOOM!

SPLAT!

He then slammed it down to the ground, crushing the blonde woman into a bloody pump!

Raising his hammer from the ground, all that remained was blood and guts, causing his expression to change to that of disgust.

"Though she was strong enough to send me flying with a kick to the face, and was also able to form something like Saber's illusion, which wasn't as strong, but enough to trick my senses... Yet, she still couldn't muster up to my expectations..."

But, just as he was in a state of relaxation, for the second time in a few seconds, his senses once more sprang alive, and soon he would feel a wave of intense anger.

Spurt!

Thud!

Shock...

Suddenly, something that he hadn't felt in an eternity, began bubbling through his body once more. This feeling was a fit of unprecedented anger that caused his attractive features to become anything but...

"My..."

With bloodshot eyes, Dawn shouted in pain...

"My hand!!!"

Tsk!!

"You bastard..!"

Instantly, his armor broke apart into thousands of small shards that shot out in every direction around him.

The shards would meet no obstruction, causing it to fly and fly, till it reached the end of the city.

"Haha... No wonder I've been unable to truly kill you... You bitch, and cowered... You were never even in the city, to begin with!!" Dawn angrily uttered, breaking his calm persona as he darted his gaze toward the skies, where his opponent's true body was located!

With his only remaining arm, Dawn pointed his palms toward the skies and shouted.

"TRUE GOLD, FULL POWER!!"
