CHAPTER THRITY FIVE
After changing into my priest robes, Phil and Lisa sent me off a hurry. "We need to join the other priest soon. Here, its an invitation card to the gathering held next week. Make sure to attend, we'll recognize you as a official priest and all that." Phil said, while Lisa was buys admiring flowerbushes. "Okay! Bye!" I said, waving them off as they dashed off.
"Well. What do you need to do now?" Levi asked, and I tilted my head, lost in thought. "Uhm… Maybe just walk around town?"
"Let's go, then." Levi said, holding out a hand. I took his hand, but, in a change of mind, I let go almost instantly. Because I was busy running towards the tent I had seen two seconds ago - a fortune teller tent, which resembled a circus tent more than it should have. "Levi! Look! A fortune teller's tent!" I said, pering through the curtains. "I thought you said you weren't superstitious." Levi mused from behind me. "I'm not. Just for fun! Are you open?" I said, turning to the fortune teller. I couldnt see then under the thick hood theyr were wearing, and there was a large cyrtsla ball in the middle of the table.
Wow. This was like every movie, book, and reference to fortune teller ever. What the heck? Ma'am, How have you not been burned alive for witchcraft yet? "Ah! Its you. Chosen One." The person said, smiling to reveal shiny pearl white teeth - dangerously pointed. I was having second thoughts now. And… Chosen One? Chosen to get zapped into a novel? How did she know? "Don't overthink it. Sit down." said the person, holdin out one clawed, long-nailed hand to beckon at a chair. I hesitated, but slowly sank into the chair. "Now, what do you want to know? You already seem to know much more about this world than you're letting on. I would even go as far as to say it is similar to a creator and creation." The fortune telled asked, running her fingers around the ball.
Creator and creation? As in, Author and book? My heart kipped a beat. Not even Bog had ben able to pinpoint that. "Who are you?" I asked, grabbing the table and leaning forward. The person smiled again, showing me her shark teeth. "Thats not any of your concerns. Ask."
"I-" I started, but suddenly, Levi raised a hand between me and the person. "Can I ask first?" Levi asked.
