CHAPTER TWENTY-NINE
I opened the door to peak out. Just a crack. Of course, as I had feared, there were at least 20 people outside. "We;re surrounded." Levi commented, and I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, But i have just the thing for these sorts of situations. We just have to convince everyone that this room's haunted. Everyone's so superstitious."
"...Hanted?" Levi questioned, and I smiled. Cupping my mouth with my hands, I let out the most bloodcurling whisper I could muster.
"Help… me. I'm so hungry." I whispered, and one of the guards jumped. Goosebumps. "Who is it?!" The guard yelled, spinning around, and I let out another bloodcurling noise, but this time a crackle. "A human. Too chewy. Bring something else." I whispered out the door, followed by another shorter but higher-piteched crackle. Levi was covering his ears after the first scream.
All twenty people exchanged glances. At one final "Mmm, I wonder if their blood will be red. I love red," they all took off running. I added another scream for good measure, and the sound of running increased. Levi was now stunned into silence. "Told you they were superstitious. I would flip if that happened too, though." I said, now opening the door all the way and stepping out. so long, suckers! Don't you know ghosts aren't real?
