Chapter 99: Hosu Incident (3)

[Third Person's PoV] 

"YOU CHEATER! Aren't you supposed to be quirkless!? Armors aren't supposed to do that! I don't know what kind of enchantments you've got, but you're overgearing! You're nothing without that armor!" Tomura shouted, pointing accusingly at Tony.

Tony, unfazed by the rant, quietly gave a command to Friday. Without warning, he shot towards Tomura, his speed shocking everyone. As he got close, the armor suddenly opened up, and Tony leapt out mid-flight, fist already swinging.

Tomura's head snapped to the side as the punch connected, sending him flying across the ground, tumbling uncontrollably. Tony landed with a smooth roll, immediately sprinting toward Tomura as Mark 40 soared back into the sky.

Tomura staggered to his feet, spitting out blood. He wiped his mouth and smirked through the pain. 'They're all the same. Pride will always be the death of them.'

He charged at Tony, extending his hand, hoping to make contact. But as soon as his hand neared Tony, it was blocked effortlessly. Tony's fist slammed into Tomura's gut, making him gasp as spit flew from his mouth.

Tony didn't relent. Left hook, right hook—each punch connected with Tomura's face, snapping his head side to side. Every time Tomura tried to counter, Tony was faster, dodging with ease or striking first.

"You know," Tony said between punches, smirking, "as much as I love my armor, there's something incredibly satisfying about feeling my fist smash into that pizza crust you call a face."

"Why!? Why can't I touch you!? You don't have your armor!!" Tomura yelled, frustration boiling over.

Tony laughed, getting into a martial arts stance, his movements fluid. "You seriously think it's my armor that makes me great? Heh…"

In a blink, Tony dashed toward him again. "News flash, Krusty the Clown…"

Tony feinted a punch, then swept Tomura's legs, making him collapse to his knees. With a quick leap, Tony stepped onto Tomura's shoulders and backflipped off of him. .

Tomura blinked in confusion as he heard a high-pitched whirring sound. He glanced up just in time to see a triangular device rapidly descending toward Tony. The device latched onto his back, and nanobots swarmed out, enveloping Tony in his armor within seconds.

Tony landed on one knee, his fist planted on the ground. When he looked up, the nanobots finished forming around his face, his eyes glowing a sharp blue. "I created everything that made me *me,*" Tony said, his voice layered with both confidence and power.

Before Tomura had a chance to react, Tony blasted him with repulsor beams, sending him crashing to the ground. Without hesitation, Tony flew toward him, his fist transforming into a battering ram. He swung down hard, knocking Tomura unconscious. 

Tony quickly secured him with Quirk Nullification handcuffs and hoisted him over his shoulder. 

As Tony took off, he spotted a Nomu with wings. Before it could react, Tony raised his arm and fired two red and golden spheres. As they neared the Nomu, a rope of blue energy connected them, wrapping around the creature and sending it plummeting to the ground.

"ROOOOOOAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRR!!!"

Tony froze mid-air. "What the hell was that, Friday?" he asked.

Friday displayed a video feed showing a massive black giant emerging from Kurogiri's warp portal.

"Well, shit... Show me Endeavor," Tony muttered as he rocketed off toward the source of the roar.

Tony quickly located Endeavor and tossed Tomura towards him. "Here! He's the cause of all this! Keep him secure," Tony said.

"What the hell do you think you're doing!?" Endeavor snapped as he instinctively caught Tomura.

"I can't do my job if I have to carry this deadweight around. You're the Number 2 Hero, so keep him secured! Bye!" Tony shouted as he blasted off toward the giant.

"Melissa, can you hear me?"

"Loud and clear."

"I need you to rally all the heroes and evacuate the entire city. The further away, the better."

"Wouldn't it be better to call in Project Legion?" Melissa suggested. "Some of these heroes aren't capable of handling the Nomu, so it wouldn't be safe for them to escort people out."

"You're right. Let's do it!" Tony agreed, seeing the towering cyclops in the distance, dwarfing most of the buildings.

"Friday!"

"Jarvis!"

"Bring forth the Iron Legion!" Both Tony and Melissa shouted as chaos erupted below.

Up in space, S.T.E.L.L.A and L.U.N.A, were orbiting quietly in the vastness of space. Their systems flashed red before they uncloaked, revealing their massive forms. The hatches for the armor cases began to open, and the eyes of each suit of armor glowed, signaling their activation. The armors crouched, then launched out of their holding bays, blasting off toward Earth.

Around 80 suits of armor rocketed down through the atmosphere, their rapid descent causing them to catch fire as they entered the Earth's skies. Unaffected, the armors sped toward the ground.

Endeavor looked down at Tomura in his arms, confused. Todoroki, who was interning with his father, turned to him and explained, "That was Stark. He's right. This guy caused all of this—the main villain behind the USJ attack. He was controlling the Nomu."

"And what the hell am I supposed to do with him!?" Endeavor growled in frustration.

"I think Stark gave him to you because you're the only hero here strong enough to keep him secured. He escaped last time," Todoroki reasoned.

Burnin, a member of Endeavor's agency, glanced up at the sky, her brow furrowed. "Uh... I don't mean to alarm anyone, but I think it might rain soon…"

Endeavor and the other heroes nearby looked up, only to freeze in shock. An army of Iron Man figures was descending from the sky.

The Iron Legion immediately went to work. Some of the armors grouped together, bombarding Nomu with repulsor beams until they were incapacitated. Others rescued civilians trapped under debris, flying them to safety.

A voice echoed through the air, "Please evacuate the war zone. I repeat, please evacuate the war zone. Your life may be in jeopardy!"

They watched as a blue Iron Man armor, equipped with water cannons, began extinguishing fires.

"You're all seeing the same thing I'm seeing, right?" Burnin asked, her mouth slightly agape.

"These are all of Stark's armors…" Todoroki muttered in amazement.

Endeavor handed Tomura to Burnin. "Here! Keep him secure," he ordered before igniting his flames and blasting off toward the battlefield, not giving anyone a chance to respond.

...

Meanwhile, as Tony arrived near the giant cyclops, he gave Friday an order. "I think it's time to finally test the Hulkbuster. We might need it for this one."
