Nothingness is the bane of Existence, and vice versa. Still, with enough amount of it, power reigns supreme over them all. Despite that, it seems that the governing force of Fate will always be the highest law among all laws. While that is the case, it also holds true that something unknown dictates it. Such is the universe, no one truly knows the truest peak. The Expanse; home of countless universes, realms, dimensions, and more. Such vast realm, governed by a God, once faced peril, rose again, and returned to its infancy. Will the God of Expanse be able to solve the problems that his dominion would face? Will the God be able to lead the entire dominion to the Fate that it is destined to walk on? Will He be able to learn the truth behind the fated Fate? (Due to it having little interactions and mentions to the characters of I.. Am God?, readers can start reading this despite not having read the first novel.)

End of An Era (2)

Noah, looking at the Scribe, asked, "Why would darkness come back? Can't God's Grace last forever and ever?"

The Scribe looked at Noah's eyes directly. Without even saying a single thing, Noah saw the reason. His legs lost their strength, faced with the truth no mortal should have had knowledge to.

A glimpse of the Meaning of Existence.

As he was taking in the bitter truth, the divine rain finally receded. The Scribe forcibly woke up Noah from his stupor, fragmenting all the thoughts that he was having as of now. At the same time, the Sacred Chest was gradually brought down, the words of God returning within. Different from its old form, the chest now had two poles that were horizontally attached on both sides. "You are to carry it from here to the Sacred Land. By doing so, you shall receive God's protection." The Scribe proclaimed before ascending to the side of the throne with the other angels returning to their circles.

Noah, standing up, opened the gate of the Ark and led the people in a procession down the mountain towards the Sacred Land, while continuously singing God endless praise.

As they were doing so, somewhere in the world, between two raging rivers, a long-forgotten bastion of life once again showed itself to the world. In front of it, a seven-foot-tall man stood guard, stoutly protecting the place with a five-foot flaming sword on his hand. In front of him was Dawid, the man that disappeared from everyone's sights.

The man guarding looked at Dawid before moving to the side, letting him open the gate that had been closed for more than a thousand years. After opening it, hundreds of thousands of animals— in pairs— poured out, letting their race once again repopulate the world.

After the droves of species came out of the domain, Dawid looked back one last time at the world before walking in, never to be seen again by the common mortal.

When the people from the Ark arrived at the Sacred Land where God once showed Himself, the Sacred Chest was then placed on the stone slab, where Noah once knelt in prayer to God.

Walking forward, Noah slit his palm, letting his blood drop into the stone. "I sacrifice my blood for the glory of our God."

Kowtowing towards the Sacred Chest that symbolizes God's grace to the beings of Earth, they sung, "Glory to God Most High! Glory to His creation! Sing praises to His name and forever have eternal life in His embrace!"

"The Heaven and the Earth are filled with Your glory! Glory to God Most High!"

"Through His angels, God has sent a flood to clean the world off the filth and darkness! We believers are safe in His care!" Noah said unto them.

"Glory to God Most High! Glory to His creation! Sing praises to His name and forever have eternal life in His embrace!" They responded with reverence.

"Through His eternally good grace, our God Almighty brought peace unto Earth, peace to people of good will!" Noah praised.

"Glory to God Most High! Glory to His creation! Sing praises to His name and forever have eternal life in His embrace!"

"Those who have died had risen with the angels and are now together in His merciful embrace! Their sacrifices are proven to be worthy!"

"Glory to God Most High! Glory to His creation! Sing praises to His name and forever have eternal life in His embrace!"

The worship went on for 40 days, where the people did not eat nor drink but instead relied on the abundant grace of God to live, yet they did not realize that they were doing so due to their intense focus on worshipping their Almighty God. After the praising, everyone also slit their palms, similar to Noah, symbolizing their sacrifice and devotion to their God that saved them from harm.

After the worship, an angel appeared in the sky. Dressed in white robes of purity and a golden band on its head, it said unto them, "Glory, Glory, God says unto all of you; The world is now restored to its righteous form! Earth is now a paradise for all Existence! Be fruitful and multiply and teach the His goodness unto everyone else! Glory to the Highest!"

"Glory! Glory! Glory to the Highest!" The people praised as the angel left and ascended back to heaven. Everyone went back to their normal lives, except for those who were taking care of livestock. No one knows when the people would be able to eat meat again. Still, because of their new source of nutrients, they really did not have any reason to eat.

As for Noah, the Servant of God went to the peak of Greater Sarjena, overlooking the lands of the Earth that were purified by God. It did not just flood with water, as they thought it would. Instead, the Earth was flooded by the blood and the deaths of the sinners who did not repent truly within their hearts.

Still, for God to remain eternally good—not this indifferent being who would slaughter humans and demons that hinders His plan— in the eyes of the people, to be worshipped by them truthfully, a white lie had to be said. Noah was scared that God's wrath might befall unto them once more because of what the people might do once this knowledge comes out.

Although the thoughts that entered his mind at that time was dispersed forcefully by Enoch, he still had the idea as to why his legs lost their strength. Maybe it was the sheer cruelty of truth, or the sheer scale of the sacrifices for Order to be restored, but he was sure with one thing; he wants to go.

"Teacher?" Behind him, a man suddenly called out to him. Turning around, he saw three men. "Shem, Ham, Japheth. You all are here."

"Why do you wish to see us?" the man leading the three asked. "My time has come, Shem. Therefore, I cannot accompany the people of God any longer." Noah said to them.
