Boring but it is Alpha

- third person POV

Alpha and Catherina stay at the tower top for a whole day. with Alpha insist on standing and staring at scenery the whole time. unable to make Alpha relax even a second, Catherina fill her time by making reports.

but since they just start the mission for a day, there not much to report. especially since there is nothing happen along the way. so Catherina decide to write her personal report regarding Alpha behaviour.

from him holding his curiosity and not throwing tantrum like he used to do at base, to his excited response when seeing this high tower and seeing the scenery at this tower top. Alpha really is unique. he is tall like a man in his prime moment but his mental like a child, but still have self control like an adult.

his face not bad, for Catherina at least. Alpha new, clean look is a bit handsome. just a bit. enough to be accepted among human but not enough to become a center of attention. his body, however, do attract attention. from wrong eyes, most of the time.

then Catherina shake her head. removing any unimportant matter from her mind and focus on he mission. all report done, and Alpha looks like will not move for anytime soon.

so Catherina take her googles and start to look around. luckily this tower is so tall. she can have quite a clear view to the surrounding area.

activating motion recognition device spell and object recognition device spell in the google, Catherina started to look around.

for the next six hour, Catherina just look around in details. not a single movement escapes her view. she zoom in and zoom out her google hundred times over, and everytime a movement detected, she will zoom in and check it.

after finally get tired of looking around, Catherina go back to make report. still nothing unusual, but that is good.

if there is others like Alpha here or anywhere out there, she can't be sure if she can handle the situation.

and all this time, with Catherina busy on doing her mission, Alpha just looking on the scenery. he didn't move an inches. and if Catherina ever check on Alpha in more details, she will realize that Alpha barely breathing. he just stand still like a rock.

and somehow, the world forget about Alpha.

wind blow through him like there is nothing on its way. And Catherina also didn't realize that at that moment, she forget about Alpha. she just busy herself and after she get tired, she put up her Space Enlargement Portable Tent and get in to rest.

then she cook, for herself. then take some bath to clean herself. go to eat happily and then relaxing on the couch with her report on hand. ready to analyze her writing and make sure that she didn't miss anything important.

as Alpha still remain standing still, Catherina got sleepy and decide to get some good night sleep i her bed. she turn off the light and then fly away to the dream world.

then, right at middle of the night. with moon right up above and stars bright in the night sky, Alpha suddenly take a deep , loud breath.

he inhale so strong and loud, he makes the tower shake and the ground tremble.

right at that moment, the world finally remember about Alpha. Catherina also wake up in surprise. suddenly memories about Alpha returns to her like a roaring river. almost make her mind blank and passed out again.

back at the camp, people who barely interact with Alpha act like they just remember something. but for the people who interact quite often with Alpha, like his teacher and trainer, they got a terrible headache and moaned in pain.

back to Alpha, he didn't even realize what happen to the people back at base or to Catherina. but he can feel that the stars, that he finally see again in clear, embrace him as he also express his longing for the celestial object.
