Alpha First Mission

- third person POV

Monday Morning, rain falling.

6 A.M at Deploy Gate

Catherina who wear protective suit and hand gun and Alpha who wear t-shirt and short pants, begin their mission.

it will takes one hour moving by car to reach their starting point.

the mission will last for a week. and they are expected to give a detail report about the behavior of zombies and what happen to them.

Catherina and Alpha moving without much noise. firstly because the car is designed to move in silent. and second because Alpha literally can't make vocal noise. and Catherina is logical enough not to give vocal response, which makes Alpha uncomfortable.

luckily Alpha, despite his under developed mental, can understand that they are in a mission and can behave himself. he is not running off by himself when Catherina not give him response. but his pouting face is scary enough to make Catherina afraid of him go back into zombies. pun intended.

after an hour of ride, both of them reach their starting point. named Point Go. from there, they supposed to go to any direction they want and keep on venturing the site until one week is over.

with no clues as their basis of choice, Catherina decide to go straight ahead following their previous direction. when they found something interesting, they will move away from their current route and continue on without any clear direction.

but after more than half a day, precisely at 13PM, both of them didn't find anything interesting. just some zombies randomly stand and walk aimlessly.

this keeps going for another day until Alpha seen a lone tower building. Alpha ask Catherina to stop at that tower and since there is no urgency, Catherina move the car silently to the tower.

as they arrive, Alpha immediately get off the car and stare straight at the tower top. Catherina follow him and also look up to the tower top.

"you want to go up there, Alpha? "

Alpha remain still for some minutes. just staring straight at tower top. somehow his crown didn't display anything. it means either Alpha just stare empty or he somehow manage to hide his mind from showing up on the crown display.

but then Alpha look at Catherina and ask.

'do you want to see from tower top? ' Displayed on the the crown.

"hmm sure, i have googles for long distance surveillance. but how do we get there Alpha? this tower is in ruins. " Catherina said as she look around.

Alpha think a little, his crown display show nothing. interesting.

'do you want to see me reach the top, with you, and see the scenery from the tower top? ' displayed in Alpha's crown.

"hmm sure, it will be interesting. and i bet the view will be wond - "

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Alpha suddenly lift Catherina in princess carry and jump twenty meters High in sec.

"ALPHAAAA IDIOOOOOTTTT!!!! "

FWUUMMM SMACK!

*wiiiiiiiiii ( sound effects of alpha falling )

Catherina smack Alpha right on top of his head, with fist full of magic power, and send Alpha ten meters away.

after that, using floating spell device, Catherina slowly float down from height carefully.

"DO NOT SCARE ME LIKE THAT ALPHA, YOU UNDERSTAND??! " Catherina shout loudly as she landed.

after 30 minutes of shock paralyzed for Alpha and 1 hour scolding from Catherina, then continued by two hours of rest for both, they finally ready to climb the tower again.

this time both agree for Alpha to carry Catherina while she use floating spell device to reduce her weight.

then Alpha proceed to carry Catherina, slowly, and then take squatting position to prepare his high jump. positioning himself to reach the tower wall at the farthest distance as much as possible, Alpha flex his legs muscles hard and jump like a bullet.

with help from Catherina who use magic to split the air and reduce air resistance, Alpha manage to reach 40 meters heights in one jump before thrust one of his hand and both feet to the wall and push both himself and Catherina hard above.

the second jump is very frightening for Catherina as they fly so close to tower wall but somehow they fly straight without ever get to any dangerous moment.

after another jump, both Alpha and Catherina fly higher than the tower top. they float like 10 meters above tower tops for like 5 second.

for Alpha, that 5 second is the most spectacular moment in his new life after outer space, as he can see the scenery far more clearer.

for Catherina, aside from spectacular scenery, she also see Alpha excited face. it somehow stun her as she never really see Alpha smile like that.

mostly because he is still stupid, but also because there is nothing that can excite him and people at their base is not good to Alpha.

then Catherina cast floating spell to Alpha, slow his fall while controlling their descent with wind magic until they land in tower top safely.

'Look Catherina, scenery. it is still as beautiful as the last time i see them.'
