Chapter 2: In the light of the moon

Like a stroke, my perception changed - I found myself in a foreign body. It was pitch dark, but gentle moonlight illuminated the room through the window. A pleasant scent permeated the air, a harmonious composition of warm woody notes and a hint of lavender.

Arms and legs were present - it seemed that I was still human. Judging by everything, I had slipped into the existence of a person already asleep.

Carefully I got up and wandered around the majestic room, which was bathed in an atmosphere full of mysticism by the soft glow of the moon. The pleasant smell enhanced the feeling of luxury and grace. Everything indicated that I was born into the life of a younger son of noble family.

A glance in the mirror revealed brown hair and bright blue eyes. The proportions of my body suggested that I was about 12 years old. It was strange to see myself in this new world.

My first goal: to learn magic. However, I suddenly noticed that the strange icon that had previously unlocked my Dimensional Travel skill had disappeared. Had I lost my skill? This thought was sobering.

I wondered if magic existed in this new world. It would be a shame if it didn't. Otherwise, I would have to resort to swordsmanship. But honestly, unlocking skills was far more appealing than traditional learning. The second one would require a lot of work, and who had time for that? I definitely didn't.

Without further insight, I decided to head back to rest. Being well-rested was essential to start tomorrow full of vigor into my new reality.

I wondered what my brothers or parents were doing in this world. Maybe I even had a sister? The thought of being a brother aroused a certain curiosity and excitement in me. I had always wanted to experience the dynamics of a sibling relationship. It would be exciting to see what my family would be like in this world and what adventures we would have together.

With these thoughts, I fell asleep, excited for the new day ahead.
