Meeting the Guild Leader and Finishing Adventurer Registration

"I already told you, it was just a slight warm-up!"

"Neo, this is no laughing matter, destroying the entire testing field, you know what it will cost" a blond man pointed out.

What's going on here?

It was my mental question.

After we lost to the examiner and passed the test to join the guild, Valery and I were taken by the examiner directly to the guild leader's office.

When we arrived, a thin man with black hair and fair skin was waiting for us, if I can assume this guy was strong.

Cold that was the first thing I felt this guy was about to go up to Rank 4 and would surely kick Neo's ass.

I guess guild masters must be strong to keep order for certain adventures.

"Let's hear their names first."

"Matias and my partner Valery".

This felt like some kind of interrogation.

"What are you so young!" Neo was surprised.

Neo thought that from the abilities of the brat and the elf they would be over 40 years old since Vampires and elves live for hundreds of years without changing much.

"Neo..." the guildmaster said seriously.

"Ah, sorry boss." he said, shutting up immediately.

"However...I understand how you feel. Only two young people who are less than 25 years old possess those skills and who sparring with you is surprising."

The guildmaster frowns at him. His eyes seem to scan me for something.

"So you are 18 years old and where do you come from?"

"I won't tell you" I said seriously.

"Because?" he asked curiously.

"Secret" if possible I would like to keep some things to myself.

At my answers, the guild boss sighed, but then he looked at Valery and asked the same thing.

"So we fail? Pass?"

After that we fill out the forms.

By the way the system has a translation system so I can read and write it as if it were English.

At the end of everything we return to the room where we continue with the guild process, since we need our identification and the rules of how everything works here.

After a few minutes of reading I finish.

It was mostly just rules and protocols for adventurers perks and privileges as well as fines for failing quests.

Also that there were 7 ranks from D to SSS where the latter belongs to the Rank above rank 7 and above.

"In case of going to another continent, is it necessary to fill in or do the process again?" Ask curious.

"No, it is not necessary once you join the guild the information is linked to the other guilds and a new registration is not necessary" explained the receptionist.

I guess everyone who gets a card is F rank at the start and should go scale from there I guess we'll stick around for a while until we at least get to C rank before moving on somewhere else.

Thinking about this, I look at Valery's card.

"Would you like to form a group?" The receptionist asked suddenly.

"Yes" my answer somewhat bored by this long talk.

With that, the receptionist gave us the basic information of what a group like this consists of, how we need a leader to take missions for the group.

This is confirmed with a maximum of 7 members and if there is another group it will be considered a clan.

Another thing she explained is that if the leader of the group dies, the group is automatically dissolved.

To leave the group, it is enough to ask a guild worker.

That was what I heard and the rest just went in one way and out the other although I can ask later anyway.

"In that case, what name should I give your group?" asked the receptionist.

Now that you mention a name we need an imposing name which is to be respected.

Looking around I notice that I had been ignoring Fenrir all this time.

Although I got an idea.

"Our group will be called Calamity, please."

At this name the receptionist opened her eyes a little but then to her usual face.

"I understand. In that case please, could you give me your adventurer card for a moment?"

We gave her our cards where she went to a separate room and after a few moments she had returned.

"Done can you confirm if the information is correct?"

Perfect I guess next to the group is in current range.

"And this concludes your registration, thank you for joining the adventurers guild." I speak with a practiced smile.

Wow, that was pretty quick.

"Thank you miss" I said.

"No need... for the sale of raw materials go to the building that is behind this one so don't confuse it."

There seems to be a lot of mistakes about this.

"And to take a mission?" Valery asked

"Go to the board and take a quest according to your rank, then bring it back to us for confirmation" he explained.

After finishing our search Valery looked at me.

"What will we do now?" she asked.

"I already have a plan, let's sell the materials we collected in the forest to earn money and then compare clothes with renting a room in an inn" she said.

In the end we decided to leave the guild.

During the day we will not take any mission, we will leave it for tomorrow, when we are ready.
