Seeing his state I felt a chill on my back, I could feel the cold sweat running down my body.

Even my survival instincts had kicked in.

This guy surpasses me by a full range, he's in the Mana Feeding stage, and he surely has much more experience than me.

"Valery, be careful with this guy" I said softly so that Valery could hear me.

She only nodded in agreement with him, since he felt that that half-giant was someone powerful, stronger than the two of them together.

Neo's figure flickered in a blur of speed.

Out of sheer instinct, he jumped to the side, managing to escape the blow of the great axe.

Boom!

That weapon hit the ground creating a small tremor along with leaving a crater in place.

That was close...

"Looks like they managed to dodge my first attack though I guess it was just luck." Neo muttered as he placed his ax into his side.

He looks at his two opponents and decides who he will attack first.

Neo in just a blink of an eye was launched against me.

The only way I could see even some of his movements was thanks to my quickening of thought. Even if I see him, it doesn't mean I'm moving faster.

Slash!

A diagonal slash shot straight into my chest, though before it hit I was pushed away by Valery who had used Wind Magic to send me elsewhere.

Grateful for this I got to discard the knives and in their place conjure a great straight red sword made of blood.

"Hmm...I see you are an interesting vampire" Neo said with a strange smile.

How do you know I'm a vampire?

I thought to myself in shock but didn't have time to even think.

Court!

A cut appeared on my cheek where blood began to come out of that wound.

"Hey brat don't get distracted in the middle of a fight!" I advise before starting a shower of cuts.

My body began to be continuously cut and regenerated.

If this continues my immortal body skill will consume all my accumulated calories and it will be fatal.

Fortunately Valery decided to attack.

It reinforced his body with Mana becoming stronger than before.

Valery pounced with high speed with his sword ready for an attack.

Clanck!

Valery widened her eyes to see how Neo had intercepted his attack with the flat of his axe.

Upon impact she could feel the difference in strength between them.

The strength was incomparable, between two different ranks.

Neo noticed the surprise on Valery's face and took the opportunity to make his next move.

By exerting force in his grip, Valery's body was completely repelled.

"The good thing about swordsmen is that they move the same" he said mockingly.

At the end of those words Neo moved at a high speed, appearing in front of Valery.

He balled his hand into a fist and punched Valery in the stomach, who coughed up some saliva before flying a few meters back.

Valery felt an intense pain in her stomach, she felt as if her organs had been rearranged in an absurd way adding to great pain.

"Well now you're just missing your brat" Neo said looking at the rest but he didn't find anyone.

This one out of nowhere had to jump to the left quickly avoiding something from hitting his head.

Shock!

After the impact a cloud of smoke was formed which, when it dissipated, revealed that it was Matias who was using her blood tentacles.

"You...You will pay for doing that to my friend" I said with an annoyed tone while activating my Vampire aura.

Neo, seeing that the brat became serious, just gave a challenging smile as if he didn't even have fun anymore.

I looked at Neo's body and noticed that her body was very robust and muscular. I doubt that my attacks with my current strength can do a lot of damage to him, but it will only be enough to overwhelm him.

To win.

Neo, without saying a single word, launched himself in my direction, ready to cut me with his great axe, but I wouldn't let him this time.

Using two of my tentacles I sent them towards my opponent who brandished his ax cutting them both.

At that moment I launched my other two tails which had the same effect but my objective was done.

When Neo was only about two meters from me, the ground turned into a watery liquid which quickly hardened, temporarily enclosing him.

This was thanks to my Swamp ability which literally turned the ground into a swamp, although it depends on how much Mana I added to it.

Not letting Neo out of his initial surprise, I regenerated my tentacles and launched them towards his body.

Clash!

Fortunately my tentacles went through his hard skin reaching his muscles and beginning to absorb blood in large quantities which would make him feel weak.

"D-Damn! Are you sucking my blood?" He asked annoyed feeling a bit dizzy.

"Yes, I hope you survive" I laughed as behind my jump Valery who had recently recovered.

It launched a slash that went straight for Neo's head who gave a huge evil smile.

He simply moved his head to the side while with one hand he grabbed Valery's neck and slammed into me.

As expected, I caught Valery where I slipped a meter back to Asia.

Neo ignited his aura which was enough to destroy the tentacles.

"That was a good warm-up however its over came here."

In a second Neo cut us both off.

"It's over," he said as he began to loosen up.

W-what happened?

I wondered because in a second he was getting back up and the next second he was falling to the ground with a deep wound in my abdomen, which began to regenerate.

On the other hand, Valery was starting as a surrogate for Healing, although she was a bit slow.

After a few minutes I was able to fully heal while viewing my status.

My stamina dropped by several hundred points and my mana dropped considerably, although it was to be expected since using three skills at the same time consumes a lot of mana.

Thankfully this wasn't a fight to the death though it did hurt like hell.

"You two have passed!" Neo's voice echoed in the training room.

Now his voice was calmer without that mocking and sadistic tone from a moment ago.

"So we pass?" Valery asked, regaining consciousness of him.

"That's right, they have a lot of untapped potential although they have a long way to go" Neo said.

We both nodded at those words since he was right.

I'm just getting used to the battles and Valery has never fought. Plus our opponent was a rank above us so we didn't have a chance.

Hell I'm sure he was holding back the whole time.

"Hahaha! You guys are the first rookies that made me get a little serious!" Change of subject very quickly while her voice is now full of fun.

"Is this guy crazy?" I said to myself though Valery heard me.

"Probably" she replied.

"Neo!" A voice was heard coming from the corridor that connects this place with the guild.

"I told you not to overdo it with the newbies..." she stopped when she saw that the place had some craters and large holes in the ground.

Along with that was dried blood and all three had some scratches on their bodies.
