Exclusive Interview:Part 3

"This question was actually given to me by a BJP politician. What do you think should be done about the issue of Ram Mandir?"

"Well, the issue is in the hands of the court. So what I think wouldn't have much affect. But I obviously have my opinions and ideas on the situation.

First of all, the judicial system of our country is, umm, in a polite manner to say, absolutely trash. Nepotism, Corruption, short-staff, more than two months vacations for the judges, you can look at the judicial system of every country around the world, and every problem will be found in it.

This issue is more than five-six centuries old. A solution should have been found by now.

And now for my opinion, I will state it without fearing about the outcomes in the elections.

First of all, lets look westwards. In Arabia, where Judaism, then Christianity, then Islam were founded.

Everyone needs to understand that as much as Kabba is important to the muslims, temples like Ayodhya's Ram Mandir, Mathura's Krishna Mandir, and several temples are for Hindus, and Indians as a whole.

From where did the word Hindu come from? Sindhu. In ancient times, Greeks came across Sindhu river, and at that time, perhaps they couldn't pronounce it correctly as even now many languages can't pronounce our words.

Greeks called the river Indus, and the whole land India because of the river. It's a misconception that the name India was given by British. The name India exists much before the german language English was invented.

Likewise, Arabs connected Europe to India. All exports from India to Europe went through Arabia. And they also couldn't pronounce Sindhu, so they came up with Hindustan, and the people here as Hindus.

So, our country's as we named is Bharat, India and Hindustan for foreigners.

It's like China as it calls itself is not China, but something that starts with Z. Zhonshou? I am not sure what exactly it is. Japan's own name is Nippon? Germany's name is something with D.

Now, it is a historical fact that Christianity and Islam destroyed local culture and religion as they spread. Egypt, Mesopotamia, Persia, Greek, Roman, etc.

But, it didn't suceed in India fully. Why? Because secularism as world sees is very different as we see.

I don't know who in Mahabharat asked that he didn't understand the complexity of Dharm. So, the answer was, don't do anything to others that you wouldn't want others to do to you.

You will never see someone fighting over who is better, Ram, Krishna, Buddha, etc.

India, by its instinct, is secular and accepting of every culture. Jews were persecuted in the whole world, but not in India. Parsis were persecuted and fled Persia, and they were also welcome in India.

It's not like things not happened in the past. Many Hindu kings try to destroy Sachi Stupa, many Buddhist kings try to destroy temples, etc. etc.

Aside from Shivaji Maharaj, I can't remember any major king who didn't have a bit of barbaric side and destruction of other faith's places of worships. Ashok is glorified, but he massacred many hindus. The thing about him converting to Buddhism after Kalinga war and becoming peaceful is an outright lie and propaganda that we have been fed.

The first step is for every community to accept that in the past when kings ruled, who were willing to commit any atrocities for more land and power, their opposite places of worships were destroyed.

Krishna junmbhumi is clearly visible that a mosque is built upon it.

Let ASI conduct an archaeological survey in the disputed area of Ram Mandir. Generations upon generations have been praying for Ram Mandir there. If the remains of a temple are found, let a Ram Mandir be built there.

And if nothing is found, build the temple somewhere else.

Anyway, no matter the findings, keep peace between each other, and understand that Ram Mandir is as important to hindus as Kabba is important to muslims.

It is not only a religious relic, but a cultural relic for the entirety of India and millions of Hindus outside India.

I will give the same amount of donation for Ram Mandir, and a big Masjid near Ayodhya. The biggest masjid in the world.

And Hindus too. From my perspective, after Ram Mandir and Krishna Mandir, don't demand for more Mandirs that were destroyed and Masjids were built upon them. Build the temples somewhere near.

I don't understand why the courts have been taking so much time for such a simple solution. Do ASI survey. If there was a temple, then build Ram Mandir on the whole place and grant land near Ayodhya for an equally big masjid.

Both sides will be happy. The economy from the pilgrimage will benefit both Hindus and Muslims.

In Durga Puja and Ganesh Chaturthi, do only Hindus make idols? No, right? Many muslim households across the country also depend on those festivals.

Most importantly, after this issue is done, stop paying attention to religion. Focus on how to lift your future generations out of poverty. Do you want India to turn like Pakistan? Where Hindus, Christians, Shia muslims, Ahmedia muslims, Baloch, Silkhs, all communities are persecuted?

Think of this matter from an economical, tourism, and development point of view. Then the faith and beliefs won't clash.

Making sure that your kids are richer and living in a safer environment should be the main focus.

I have given what I think will be an ideal solution. But, whether I support or oppose it wouldn't matter. The decision is with those who call themselves 'milords', and will take centuries to give their judgments. I have filed a PIL for justice for Kashmiri hindus, and many victims have also signed it. Many before me have also done it.

But, 'milords' are so busy with their vacations that they haven't even ordered an investigation to start.

'Whatever time it takes, justice always comes' is such bullshit we have been fed.

The correct thinking, and rule of the law should be, 'Justice delayed is justice denied'."
