"I'm not impressed." He said and Kalina guessed the laughter in his words. "Still." She returned, trying to match his amusement and completely failing. That man had a knack for annoying her, that was for sure. ¿Why? Kalina didn't know for sure. She felt a little stupid about the discovery, but there was something else. Something attracted her to him, that was undeniable.
Kalina checked that Zintia was still sleeping peacefully in her sleeping bag. Fortunately, Valian had managed to calm her down.
He had spoken of his own experiences with the awakening. Then, he had promised that everything would settled. He also spoke of old books and manifestos.
Zintia would learn how to be a Drake and be one with her Kiru. She wouldn't be alone anymore.
Kal was about to search for Valian and Irion when a subtle movement to her right caught her attention. It was the maiden, Lala.
"Hey," Kal said. "Are you doing fine there?" Kal asked the charming Lala.
The maiden was smaller than Kalina. Next to Her Highness, she looked like a child. She was so pretty like a doll. With pale skin and extremely long brown hair. Her big eyes looked at Kalina with sweetness. Her pupils were very dark.
