"I'm not impressed." He said and Kalina guessed the laughter in his words. "Still." She returned, trying to match his amusement and completely failing. That man had a knack for annoying her, that was for sure. ¿Why? Kalina didn't know for sure. She felt a little stupid about the discovery, but there was something else. Something attracted her to him, that was undeniable.
I'm Not Going To Hold Back

Valian, what am I going to do with you? Kal was about to unbutton her shirt to head to the bathroom when she heard a subtle knock on the bedroom's front door.
In a second she was at the door and opened it.
A mature maid stood in front of her room. Along with the woman came an old man with neatly braided white hair who looked like a physician.
"Miss Kalina," The old lady began. "I am Malea, the governess of the palace maidens. "His Majesty sent the royal doctor to attend to your wound."
Wound? Ah! The scratch on the shoulder. Oh, Valian... Her heart tried to melt at that detail.
Seconds later, Kalina had managed to dismiss both, the governess and the doctor. The thing was, she was already healed. Yes, she healed faster than anyone else. Such a small wound had disappeared in less than a week of course.
