"I'm not impressed." He said and Kalina guessed the laughter in his words. "Still." She returned, trying to match his amusement and completely failing. That man had a knack for annoying her, that was for sure. ¿Why? Kalina didn't know for sure. She felt a little stupid about the discovery, but there was something else. Something attracted her to him, that was undeniable.
So strange little thing, right? Well, she could show to the damned Myra how strange things could have gotten. But Kalina held on and instead concentrated on controlling her energy. Still, the ground rumbled perceptibly.
Well, she had to get out of there.
"Valian, I'll go back to my room," Kal said while looking unfazed.
The truth was that the Kru woman had a history with him before she arrived. Kalina could respect that. At least that's what she told herself.
"Valian?" Myra scoffed.
Well, ¡hell! the woman was digging her own grave. Kalina turned around removing any mask she had put on her face. The ground shook so much this time, that Myra had to find balance.
So weak... Kalina thought and her fury cooled. She turned and was about to leave when Valian caught her arm.
