When Audra's mum dies, she goes back home, even knowing she would finally have to face his first love, Chris – who’s also his foster brother. After what appears to have been a pretty painful breakup, they’ve been avoiding each other over the past 11 years. But will the pain of the loss bring them back together? GROWING CLOSER
Claire and I sat comfortably in my room, surrounded by snacks and soft music playing in the background. The atmosphere was relaxed, and we were both in high spirits as we caught up on the events of the past week. One way or another, we kept missing each other during the week, so we decided to hang out today after school.
"It's been so strange, Audra. Sophia's been completely absent this week. No snide comments, no trying to sabotage my plans. It's like she's disappeared, but she's still there..." Claire said, a hint of disbelief in her voice.
I raised an eyebrow, intrigued but cautious. I knew Sophia too well to believe she had given up so easily. "I don't want to be that person, but after the stunt she played last weekend, that's just suspicious. You think she's planning something?"
