4_Study hard

She smiled at the boy and answered his question with pleasure: { From now on, you would be known by the name Asher Chronoseus! }

"Asher, huh?"

{ Yes, Asher! Do you like your new name? }, Lin asked full of excitement.

"Yeah, it's nice.," Asher replied while a small smile appeared on his face.

{ I'm happy that you like your name, Asher! But sadly, I need to tell you that you need to study, study a lot. You need to study like your life is on the line! }

"What?," the happiness he got from hearing his name disappeared in the tin air after hearing something he never wanted to hear again.

{ You heard me right! You need to study, study a lot. }, Lin said once again without caring what her host was thinking.

{ You need to study so much until you bleed from your nose, until you see the letters being printed inside your head, until you'll feel the horror to even see a book but still need to read it. That is how much you need to study! }

The more Lin opened her mouth, the paler Asher became. His head already began to spin with just thinking about the word 'study' but hearing what she wanted to accomplish made him vomit.

He who didn't touch a book in who knows how long needed to study so much that his nose bleeds? That's just impossible! It would be a wonder if he could study for half an hour, but 'that' much. In her dreams, yeah!

[She's crazy or out of her mind. Maybe even both!]

{ For your information I'm not out of my mind or crazy. I do this all for you! }

[She read my mind!]

"Didn't you say that you won't read my mind anymore?," Asher asked unsure.

{ I never said that. I only said that I will not read your thoughts if you disliked it, but you never gave me an answer, you know? But still, I knew what you though without reading your mind. }, she answered in a matter of fact.

"But you know what you said is just crazy!"

{ Of course, it's crazy. }

"Then why?"

{ Isn't it because someone didn't hold a schoolbook in who knows long. I'm even afraid that you can't do simple things like multiply something. }

[That…hurts. I'm not that bad, I think?]

{ You need to be ready to take the entrance exams in a month, so you better study more than anyone in the world ever did! }

I know that the chapter was super short, but I kind of forgot that I had other things to do, so do not hate me for this super short chapter. I promise that the next one will be twice long as this chapter!
