Chapter 13 - Entering the Core Condensing Stage!

When Scarlett crushed the teleportation stone, this time, she teleported 20 miles south.

When her feet touched the ground before she opened her eyes she used her spiritual consciousness to scout out the area.

She was NEVER going to let a situation like that repeat it's self. Those people were obviously much stronger than her so she was lucky enough to escape.

Sensing that coast was clear she opened her eyes.

Now THIS was a fantasy-type forest!!

Ancient trees and peach blossoms filled the area. Tree roots to large to be kept under ground were on the surface. But that's not really what attracted her attention. Spirit energy that could be seen to naked eye filled the air.

Even taking a breath made Scarlett feel refreshed. It now clicked in her mind why it was much more beneficial to cultivate in the Astro than at home.

Just as she was about to start walking, the stickiness of her clothes made her take a beat.

Not wanting to get angry or embarrassed remembering the events that just happened she pushed them to the back of her mind.

She walked to a particular secluded space under a tree root and started to change. She got out a random pair of tan shorts and a white t-shirt.

As she was about to get out another coat she realized she left her black coat by the pond. She was to lazy to head back and get it so she decided to just let it be and got out a simple black zip up. She was not going to admit that she was a little intimidated by those people. 'How could I be afraid. I just prefer not start conflict' she reasons nodding to herself.

The clothes here were really similar to modern earth so it was very convenient for her.

Once she was changed she started to scope out where the spirit energy was the densest.

She circulated spirit energy in her legs and stated jumping from roots to roots until she found the area she wanted.

A massive tree stood before her with roots much thicker than the ones she had seen before. The spirit energy was much also much more visible in slivers of silverish white.

A normal person should be rooted to the spot, mouth gaping, and eyes sparkling at such a beautiful view, right?

Yeah not Scarlett.

Though she was a bit excited, it wasn't about the view. When she first stepped in the vicinity of the tree she felt her cultivation stage shift. After all, she had been suppressing her cultivation, so it was only an amount of time before she would breakthrough.

Hopping on her toes she jumped up to a thick root that could hold her and sat down to start her cultivation.

She closed her eyes and emptied her thoughts. Exhaling, she opened up her pores and started absorbing the spiritual energy around her.

Elle would usually place a spirit gathering array around her and Scarlett also had some in her bad but she figured that since the air was so dense in energy she could just save those for later.

The spirit energy went into her body and through her meridian paths, down to dantian.

Now she had to form a core.

Dense spiritual energy started surging deep in the forest towards a little silver haired girl.

At the same time Astro was filled with tones of cultivators of all ages. Seeing the phenomenon of spiritual energy, no one pairs any attention to it as that was a normal occurrence in the forest.

Especially so when the Genesis was going to happen anyway now.

Wrinkling her brows, sweat dropped from the little girl's forehead.

On the inside though she was freaking out!!

When one advances to the Core condensing stage, a little clear core will be formed. That should be happening to Scarlett right now.

Except, when she was absorbing the spiritual energy in the area and in the process of creating a core, another core started forming on the side by ITSELF!

To top it all off the core was dark black and gave off an ominous aura.

She was so shocked that she almost messed up in her core creation.
