*** At the Battlefield ***

- After defeating the demon creatures, Alex received a ton of notifications from his system. But the one that got his attention was that he got a new ability after leveling up. -

"What!!!"Alex screamed "I got a new ability just from defeating demon creatures and leveling up?"Alex said to no one in particular. He had already added the stat points to his strength to make it on par with his agility.

"Hmm, I shouldn't waste time on this, I will come back to this after helping others out"Alex thought to himself.

* On the other side of the battlefield *

- Kai is seen resting on one of the ferocious blue volcanic wolf's corpse, he glanced into the distance and saw Alex approaching him. He smiled and yelled "You just finished over there right?"

Alex replied"Yeah" As he got to where Kai was, he saw that the demon creatures were dead with punctures all over their bodies.

"You did this?"Alex was stunned.

"Yeah, this demon creatures are weak for me, you know I'm in the peak of the first level, my challenge will be the 2nd base creatures at the center waiting for us"Kai replied.

"It was great"Alex replied, deciding not to tell Kai about his new ability yet.

"Let's regroup with the others, to see if they need help"Alex said as they walked back to regroup with the rest.

- On regrouping with the rest, they found out that Ken and Mia were injured and were being treated by Stacy. The remaining boys (Sai, Alex and Kai) decided to attack the 2nd level but their plan of facing each second level 3-to-1 and 2-to-1 had been disrupted. -

"Let me take on one of them while you two take on the other"suggested Alex.

The others were stunned, then Kai started laughing,"Alright Alex, I'll trust you with one and I'll handle the other"He said.

Once again the others were stunned, what was on their minds was 'Are these two friends crazy?'.

"Let me go too"Sai said while taking in a deep breath as he spoke.

"Don't bother to help Sai, your energy has almost been depleted. Protect the others, incase there is an ambush"Kai said to Sai.

"Alright"Sai said and lowered his head. He knew he didn't have much energy left and was scared but he didn't want to see the two friends get stronger than him.

"Alex, I feel like you have surpass me already. Why don't we use a bet to settle the scores"Kai suggested.

"Hmm, so what is the bet?"Alex replied.

"First to defeat his own opponent gets the loser's food for a week"Kai said.

The others watching the two friends were dumbfounded at how the guys were not even scared of taking out 2nd level each.

"Ok, then I'll be the first since I'm...."Alex was saying, but before he could finish, Kai had already turned himself into a bolt of blue-black lightning and blasted himself 100 meters into the sky with a small push from his earth ability appearing above the ferocious blue volcanic wolf he picked as his opponent.

"Humph, show off"Alex harrumphed coldly, condensing a burst of flames under his feet and BANG, he shot off into the sky around 60 meters "Let see who wins"he yelled at Kai, Taking out the longsword on his back, he engulfed it in flames and started falling headfirst in the direction of his own opponent.
