Chapter 27: The past that haunts us

I don’t know where I’m heading, but I can’t stay there any longer. How dare he do this to me? I was fine without him. Tears fall down my face and sobs collect in my throat as I rush through the mall’s floors. Once I’m a good distance away, I stop near the exit door and lean on a nearby wall.
When I open my eyes, I see Azazel standing before me. Without a word, he pulls me into his arms. “I hate him. I hate him so much.” I say through my tears. Azazel hums as he comfortingly rubs my back. He’s such a good friend.
After a moment, Azazel releases me and pushes me into Mikhail’s arms. Wrapping my arms around Mikhail, I embrace him tightly and kiss his chin.
