Chapter 39: Ambush X Interrogation
Betero was greeted with a fist.
As Noah had expected, the person he had been following showed no awareness at all, allowing him to approach easily.
After considering for two seconds, Noah decided to strike first, taking down this utterly unsuspecting guy and then asking him the questions he wanted to know.
With determination, Noah no longer concealed his aura and advanced towards Betero.
However, what surprised Noah was that this guy only realized when he was right in front of him.

"Now, you can't move, right?"
Noah slowly retracted his fist, realizing that Betero was acting strangely.
Although he didn't understand why, this situation suited Noah's intentions.
"I'll ask you a few questions. Answer them, and I'll let you go," Noah said calmly, ignoring Betero's questions, and extended his hand, which transformed into claws in front of Betero's eyes.
"Otherwise, I'll kill you right now."
"Hm," Betero muttered, realizing that he had no other options.
"What is this place? Don't try to deceive me. I'm asking about the location hidden beneath this building."
He knows about the laboratory? That shouldn't be. How could the lab's entrance be concealed? Could it be that he was just downstairs, and I didn't notice at all?
Betero finally realized that Noah had been following him the whole way up, but he remained completely unaware.

"Answer my question." Noah's aura gradually pressed down on Betero.
