Lucca's realization

I felt my hands tremble as I remember this day to be the death of Anne. I did hope that at least I could stay with her but I guess death is our boundary.

"Are you nervous? " Terrence asked. Maybe I look nervous to him but to be honest I was just feeling sad knowing that Anne is gone. 

3 years have passed already, I don't know how to react at all anymore. 

I just miss her so much.

"Lucca," Terrence called as I look at him and just smiled. 

"I'm not nervous at all Terrence I just miss her so much," I explained. 

"I'm sorry for bothering your thoughts Boss but I want you to stay focus on your goal and not be distracted by someone's death." I just want to punch Terrence for calling Anne 'someone' but as the rule says we cannot say that girl's name anymore.

Why did Anne die in the first place when she was not a mafia-like me right?
