After-Image Explosion - Chapter 30

There is some kind of disadvantage that comes with the ability of Eric, as in the world of Hunter x Hunter most of the things are greatly detailed and balanced, the ability of Eric was the same. The thing is his ability After-Image Explosion – The Imaginary Bomb can only work as the name suggest, it does not work like a separate existence from Eric himself.

This means that the attack will be only activated if the enemy or target attacks to "After-Image" if the After-Image was not attacked, Eric himself has no means of detonating the After-Image, and or create another After-Image to attack the target,

If the enemy deduce that the one who was attacking the After-Image of Eric, he or she can just ignore the After-Image, and if Eric stops controlling the After-Image,

the After-Image will have vanished and Eric cant create or use his ability again for about "One Hour"

This means that he has always give doubts to his target or threaten the target to attack the After-Image,

Marcus just looked at the After-Image and learn these things, this was not because of the system itself, he learned these things with the two memory of the original character.

One of them from "Killua" and his assassination ability "Rhythm Echo" and another hint he took the man named "Kastro" who died in the hands of the "Hisoka" in the Heaven's Arena.

It may look like these two things have no connection whatsoever but it was not for Marcus.

Marcus understood that an after-image can not attack the target, compared to the double created by nen which like "Hanzo" or "Kastro" it had no attacking capabilities.

This means that Eric was not that strong, he was just a man with the ability to create after-image, and after he got his nen, he just used the ability of the creating "After-Image" to turn his After-Image into a bomb after getting attacked.

Marcus just took a deep breath and used "Gyo" to search the around and the After-Image itself, the After-Image Eric was still running towards him at full speed without stopping, but Marcus did not think that this was the real Eric,

Of course, this was not just a thought, it was because of the shoes of the "After-Image" he thought that it was Eric.

When he first saw Eric with the silver sword, he noticed that the boots he was wearing had mud stains on them,

but then every time Eric attacked with his ability which is an "After-Image" he noticed that there are no stains on the boots or any clothing on Eric.

The one thing common the doubles or after-images created by nen itself had is the real-life effects.

This was one of the reasons why Hisoka managed to kill Kastro without having too much problem in his eyes, the Kastro did not think that he can not create doubles by copying the real effects such as wounds, drops of blood, and the dirty-stains from the environment.

Marcus, just waited for Eric to got close to him and at that time the After-Image swung his sword and attacked Marcus but it did not work at all, the silver sword itself just passed Marcus without any damage,

Marcus than just smiled and took a deep breath and started to run towards one direction without, as he runs the "After-Image" itself vanished without a trace like it never existed

And about five seconds of run, Marcus saw the real "Eric", it was clear that he was the real one because of the dirty boots and human feeling on him.
