2. Family
The Trial have started, and everyone have new appearance. But they don't care about their appearance now, they need to know what they need to do. Their first priority now is finding a way to survive and finish this Trial.
Siji also think like that, but he have another priority right now. If everyone on Earth are being summoned here, then his family must be here too. He open his friend list and really find his family members name. He clicked his little sister's name, Erla. It connected and then a video appear on his status screen.
"Ah? He-hello? Is-is that you, big bro?"-Erla seem to still shocked by this incident, and she cry.
"Yeah, it's me, Siji. It seem your appearance also changed."-Siji smile softly
Erla now have bright skin with red hair and red eyes. They may have different appearance from before, but they still have resemblance as siblings.
"Listen, keep calm and don't panic! It will not change anything, so save your energy."-Siji
"A-alright *sniff*."-Erla wipe her tears
Siji wait until his little sister calm down a bit before he continue.
"Are you with Mom & Dad?"-Siji
"Ye-yeah, they are here, grandma was here too, but she disappeared after got shone by the white light. Dad is still grieving about that, we didn't find uncle or aunty's family though."-Erla
"That's okay, now i want you to bring them and go to an empty place. It will be better if you go to a high building, i am on a water tower, maybe you can find one too."-Siji
"A-alright."-Erla
Erla then call their parents and go to an empty place. They find a building and a stair that lead to the rooftop. It seem empty, so they go up, and it's really empty. Then Erla look at her screen again and say that they have arrived on an empty rooftop.
"Good, where are Mom & Dad?"-Siji
"They're here, but they can't see my screen."-Erla
"So only the user can see their screen."-Siji
Siji look at his screen and see for details. Then he find out that he can call multiple people at once. This is just like a group call feature, but it's convenient. Then he call his Mom & Dad, and now they're in a group video call.
"SIJI, IS THAT YOU?"-Mom
"Yeah, it's me. But, are you really my mom?"-Siji tilt his head
"Of course this is your mom, can't you see it?"-Mom
Siji look at his mom that become a loli with bright skin, silver hair, and red eyes. She was short, but now she become even shorter. His dad is quiet, maybe still thinking about Siji's grandma. His dad have brown skin like him, red hair, and black eyes.
Siji's Mom's name is Aria, and his dad is Shad. Their family name is Srenggala, from his dad family. Siji look at their appearance again, and it seem the ones that decide the appearance still thinking about gene factor. They still look like a family even when their appearance change.
"Alright, hear me guys, i don't know what is happening here, and i believe no one know exactly what's going on. That angel have said a lot of things, but we don't know if that's true. What i know is, we need to live, and to live, we need to do what he told us earlier."-Siji
"Are you sure that will be enough?"-Shad
His dad has put aside his grief and focus on what will happen now.
"That's our only chance, we can't do anything else beside that. So i want you guys to check your guidebook first and every information you got in your screen. That will be our first step to make our plan, ask Erla if you don't understand. This is like a game interface afterall, so it will be a little hard to understand for older people. Call me again after you finish reading everything."-Siji
Everyone agree and close their call. They need to find information first and decide what to do later. Siji's parents didn't have high degree, but they are not stupid and do things rashly. Siji also look at his status in the screen.

"It seem the stats distribution is even for level 1. Maybe it's the same for others too, i will confirm it with Erla later. There's job and class too, so they are different, i don't know the difference now. I don't play many games in the past, so i thought they're the same."-Siji
Siji open his inventory and see the starter pack and open it. He find it filled with light armor, a cutlass and some basic items. He sweatdrop at the cutlass, it seem like he will be a pirate in this world. But he actually like cutlass, it looks very badass and he also like pirates movie, so he have no complain.
"Maybe the job & class are based on people's preferences?"-Siji
Siji then wear the brown leather armor set and it feel comfortable. There is a chestplate, handguards, gloves, short pant like armor, belt and also shoes. He put his cutlass on the left side of his belt. It's a beginner set, but it is good and protect most of vital area and will suffice for now.
Siji open his guidebook and find some information. He find out that job is people's general occupations group. He is a combatant, so he need to fight monsters as his job. Class is people's specific profession & ability, like his swordsman class. There are other classes too like mage, archer, tanker, etc.
Siji also realize that there are jobs and classes that works like NPC in games. He suspect that it's because this world didn't have NPC like games, so they become jobs and class. But it's good, because NPC works didn't put the ones that have it in danger. They will work in the city where it will be safe. Siji hope his family will get this kind of job and class.
Suddenly his family call again and they seem to wear their beginner set too. Altough they all have different armor set and weapons. His parents didn't have many armor parts. His mom didn't even have weapon, and his dad only have a small hammer. His sister didn't wear leather armor, but wearing white cloak instead. She also have a small stick as a weapon.
They explain their job & class to Siji. His Mom and Dad have the same job, they're Crafter. His mom's class is a Tailor, and his dad is a Blacksmith. This make Siji relief because they're NPC workers. His sister's job is Medic and her class is Healer, this make him worried. She may be needed to go with a party to hunt monster.
But now Siji understand something, their job & class really have something to do with their preferences. His mom is a real tailor on Earth, his dad is a mechanic, so now he become a blacksmith because there's no machine here. His sister want to be a nurse, so she become a healer.
"Big bro, actually i find out in my guidebook that there is a healer class in Combatant job."-Erla
"WHAT? Wait, i will check my guidebook."-Siji
Siji find it after sometime, and he read it carefully.
"What the heck, they really have a same class with different job? The Combatant healer is the one that will go around with other people to slay monsters. Medic healer is someone that stay in hospital in the city to treat patient. I don't really understand this job and class divisions, so i will just let it be."-Siji
Siji massage his head and sigh. At least he's relief that his sister will not go out to hunt monsters. His family will stay in the city and work there, so he didn't need to worry.
"Alright, how's your stat?"-Siji
"We have 10 in all of our stats, and 100 MP, attack & defense."-Erla
"It seem we all have the same starting point."-Siji
Siji then guide them how to distribute their stats in this early game. He is not an expert, but he know what to do at the beginning. He ask his parents to put 5 in Dex, 3 in Str and another 2 in Int. They will need Dex the most in their job later. Then he ask his sister to put 7 in Int, and 3 in sense.
"Is this distribution really good?"-Dad
"I hope, i don't play RPG games that much."-Siji
"Oioioi, how if this is a bad decission?"-Dad
"Then do you have a better solution shitty old man?"-Siji
"Oho, it seem you need another beating from this shitty old man, cheeky brat."-Dad have a tickmark
They quarrel for sometime until his mom stop them. But she didn't look that scary anymore like in the past, she look adorable instead. They stop and continue their discussion.
"The best plan for now is to do what we should do. You have jobs and classes, so you must work based on that. I have read that there are quests too, so we need to follow that for now."-Siji
"Alright, that seem to be the best option for now. We will work hard and make sure to have money to live, so you need to live too. I believe you can kill those monsters, son. But always be carefull!"-Dad
"I know dad, i will survive and get stronger, so i can go to your city and meet with you guys again."-Siji
"You don't need to come here if you need to risk your life you know."-Mom
His mom is very worried that Siji will exert himself too much and risk his life to get stronger. She have lived longer than Siji and know many things. Boys tend to challenge themselves and show that they're strong and can do anything. Siji is like that too, but he know his priority.
"I know mom, i'm not a stupid brat that think he can do anything."-Siji
They talk for sometime more, mainly about his parents that worries about him that is alone in his city. Siji is in City #587, while his family is in City #2089. From the available map, their cities are very far from each other.
They close their call, then Siji also start to distribute his stat points. He put 4 in strength, and his attack also increase by 40. It seem strength affect his attack value. Then he put 3 to agility, 2 to dexterity and 2 to vitality. When his vitality raise, his defense also raise.
"So strength connect to attack, and vitality connect to defense. I don't know if i will need dexterity, but it can make my critical chance higher, so i raise it a bit. But still, my priority are strength and agility."-Siji
Siji then look at the people that are still confused. Only some people have calmed down and know what to do. Not many people will keep calm in a situation like this. Not even people who read many story about another world or gamers that play many RPG. This is a real situation, not a story or games afterall.
Siji can keep calm because he force himself to calm. He is someone that always think with calmness. He was afraid and panic, but he know it wouldn't solve anything. Not everyone is like that, especially those that didn't even know anything about other world.
Siji then see some people that seem to understand the situation start to leave the plaza. They have realize what the should do in order to live. Siji also prepare himself and go down from the water tower. Then he go to the city gate that he saw from the tower.
Siji just about to step out from the gate, when suddenly a notification popped out on his screen. It say he need to train in the training center first before he can hunt monsters. Siji got stunned and then he laugh while covering his eyes.
"Hahaha, it seem i'm not as calm as i thought."-Siji
