Chapter 204: Surprise Attack
Arthur reacted the fastest. He immediately cast three spells towards the entrance, in the direction from which the previous spell had attacked.
"Protego!"
"Protego!"
Two transparent barriers rose, barely blocking Arthur's three attacks.
"Cough, cough!"
A cough sounded from behind the barrier, and Snape's figure appeared.
Although Arthur's three spells were just casual releases, it was enough to give Snape a hard time.
"Professor, scaring people can scare them to death."
Seeing Snape's appearance, Arthur didn't continue his attack and said something with some helplessness.
However, someone wouldn't let him off that easily.
"Confingro!"
"Stupefy!"
Lupin and the recovering Sirius cast two spells at the same time.
However, before they could reach Snape, Arthur casually flicked his hand and turned the spells in a different direction.
Snape looked at them proudly. At a critical moment, his own students were still on his side.
"Well done, Arthur. A werewolf, an escaped criminal, and a rat in disguise."
His eyes, filled with hatred, swept across Lupin, Sirius, and Peter. Snape spoke slowly, his tone thick with resentment.

Harry hurriedly tried to defend Sirius but was rudely interrupted by Snape.
"Shut up, Potter! What right do you have to say such things? Do you know what they have done? It was your precious Sirius, because of his arrogance, because of his cunning, your mother lost her life."
Snape shouted these words, immediately scaring Harry. He had never seen Snape so angry and hysterical before.
Ron shook with fear as he hid in the corner. He didn't dare make a sound because he was scared Snape would hear him.
In fact, Snape had arrived outside much earlier. He had carefully concealed his body and even used the Disillusionment Charm so Arthur didn't detect his arrival.
He had heard every word of their conversation just now, but what difference did it make?
For him, both Sirius and Peter were the killers who caused Lily's death, one as an accomplice, the other as an indirect killer.
All he had to do was hand them over to the dementors, and everything would be solved.
Sirius was rendered speechless by Snape's words, while Lupin tried to persuade him, "Severus, it's all a misunderstanding. Just hand Peter over to Dumbledore, and Let Peter, who caused Lily's death face a punishment."

"Professor, calm down."
Arthur stopped Snape's raised wand.
"The Headmaster won't allow you to do this. If you deal with both Sirius and Peter, are you also going to deal with Harry?"
"As long as someone walks out of here, Dumbledore will surely know what happened here."
Arthur's sincere persuasion had some effect.
Actually, Snape knew what Arthur was saying.
He had just let his anger cloud his judgment for a moment. Now, Arthur had allowed him to save face, and he decided to follow along.
Lupin and Sirius looked at Snape, who showed no intention of attacking, and breathed a sigh of relief.
"Alright, let's quickly take Peter back to school. Professor Lupin, remember to hide Peter well and don't let the Ministry of Magic find him,"
Arthur said.
Lupin nodded, understanding Arthur's meaning and knowing the nature of the Ministry of Magic.
However, Snape disagreed, saying, "No, I won't trust a mere werewolf. I want to personally guard Peter and Sirius should come with me too."
Harry was shocked.
"Professor Lupin, you're a werewolf?!"
Lupin admitted with a wry smile, "Yes, I had planned to announce my identity in the last class of this semester, but it seems like Severus has already taken the 'Werewolves' class."
Ron was also shocked; today's information was too much for him to handle, and he couldn't even digest it anymore.
After some consideration, Arthur agreed to Snape's suggestion and handed over Sirius and Peter to him.
Sirius wanted to say something but was silenced by Arthur's glare.
The group returned to Hogwarts through the secret passage.
Snape took the lead, using branches to transform into two ropes and tightly binding Sirius and Peter.
Under the direction of his wand, the ropes floated behind him. Lupin was worried that Snape would torture Sirius and followed closely behind.
Meanwhile, Harry pulled Arthur aside and started whispering.
"Arthur, why did Snape get so angry when my parents' death was mentioned? Were he and my parents good friends?"
Arthur looked at Harry strangely, "Do you think he would target you like this if he were good friends with your father?"
Harry was speechless. He couldn't refute Arthur's point.
"In fact, Snape had a good relationship with your mother, Lily, you could even say they were childhood friends. If it wasn't for Snape making some mistakes, combined with your father's interference, you might be called Harry Snape now,"
Arthur casually dropped a bombshell, leaving Harry and Ron dumbfounded.

"No, it's impossible. How could my father be a third party? Arthur, you must be joking,"
Harry shook his head strongly, unable to believe that there was such a story between his mother and Snape.
Arthur looked sympathetically at Harry, "If you don't believe me, you can ask Professor McGonagall. Your mother was her proudest student back then."
Hearing Arthur bring Professor McGonagall into the conversation, Harry had no choice but to accept the reality, even if he didn't want to.
Seeing Harry visibly affected by his information, Arthur couldn't help but smile to himself.
He walked out of the secret passage with light steps.
Hermione and the others were probably not back yet, so Arthur decided to rest in the Ravenclaw common room for a while before going to the Great Hall for dinner.
But just as he arrived at the entrance of the Ravenclaw common room, Professor Flitwick found Arthur and informed him that Dumbledore wanted to see him in his office.
