"What were you thinking?" McGonagall immediately rushed over to where Orion had just descended from the sky while princess-carrying Daphne, making many girls' eyes turn with jealousy. Orion was currently the hottest guy in Hogwarts.
With his natural allure due to his magic and presence, he was pretty much like Gojo Satoru—a literally god.
So, many girls were looking at Daphne with envy, while the only girl who could legitimately claim to be jealous was still underwater.
"Honestly, nothing. I was perfectly minding my own business while trying to save this poor little girl, who someone decided to put unconscious and trap 20 meters underwater when that big squid suddenly attacked," Orion replied offhandedly.
"And you seriously want me to believe that blasting that Kraken to oblivion was the only option you had to get Ms. Daphne out of there safe and sound?"
"I was there too; where's the part where you worry about me?"
To this, the old witch only raised both of her eyebrows, looking at Orion as if to say, 'Really?'
Orion glared back as if he was hurt by her not looking after him but sighed ultimately. He neither had the time nor energy to play with her anymore. Maybe a few years ago, he would have loved to do that; in fact, he had done it too much, perhaps to the point that she was now immune to it. But now, he was way too busy to waste time on silly things like that.
"Whatever. I really didn't mean to make that big of a scene, but it's just that I don't have as much control over my magic as before. I was only planning to throw that stupid squid away, but that ended up happening," Orion replied with a sigh, not wanting to make things difficult for either McGonagall or Dumbledore.
Hearing this, McGonagall didn't immediately say anything—first, not believing what he said, but upon hearing that tired tone and sigh, she believed him. At least she knew that if this wasn't the truth, Orion would never have said it. He could have just said something else or made a stupid joke but not intentionally pointed out that it was his mistake.
McGonagall thought that Orion's control over his magic was getting better—after all, what happened with that castle wall was still fresh in her mind. But that was the only time when it happened; even when Orion seemed to be losing control because of his emotional outbursts, he didn't seem to lose control over his magic that much.
McGonagall pursed her lips as she pondered over what kind of disaster could happen if something like that occurred while other students were around.
Orion, after seeing the kind of face McGonagall was making, immediately understood what she was thinking and replied to ease her worries.
"Don't worry. Why do you think I'm waving a wand nowadays? Besides some emotional outbursts, the only time I have that problem is when I'm not using the wand.
It's basically like I suddenly have too much muscle to be able to handle an egg without breaking it," Orion replied, making McGonagall tilt her head as she tried to understand his strange explanation while still pondering whether the child's strangeness was contagious. Or maybe she was just too used to this that she even understood that last muscle part.
Sighing, she just shook her head and ended the conversation there. For the time being, she let the boy be the prince who saved his princess. McGonagall just saw Daphne waking up and, with a little smile on her face, decided to end the conversation there.

Daphne opened her eyes only to see the dream she had had too many times to take it any more than it being a dream. But of course, that didn't mean she didn't like it.
She saw beautiful blue eyes looking at her while strong arms surrounded her, which made her smile. She didn't even have to see that handsome face to know who he was; only one person had those flawless white hair and striking blue eyes.
She had gone through this dream too many times not to know who this person was. However, it didn't mean that she found staring at that face tiresome—in fact, she loved it.
But right now, she was feeling cold as hell. For some reason, she felt as if she were in Antarctica with those cold winds piercing through her clothes. Even in those strong, warm hands, she still felt cold.
This time, she didn't feel like looking at that handsome face but just nuzzled her head against the chest of the person holding her while wrapping her hands around the boy.
On the other hand, Orion just stood there in both confusion and a little embarrassment when he saw some of the students giggling and smirking at him. And though not all responses were just casual teasing, many were rolling their eyes, and many were snarking at this time.
"Ah, it's good to be young," McGonagall suddenly said, though she was still going to go over there and separate the two—can't have two students doing that in front of others like this, after all.
Hearing this, Snape, who was standing near her, just snorted and grumbled under his breath after seeing the boy of his ire getting a polar bear hug from the Greengrass girl.
"Hmm, Daphne, wake up," Orion said, trying to wake Daphne up, only for her to tighten her grip on him, indeed quite similar to a polar bear. This made Orion sigh.
But the real problem had yet to come, and it was none other than Rose. Though on the surface they didn't show it, the competition was there, knowing that it ultimately might come down to this.
And although Orion didn't think too much about it, his instincts told him that he better take Daphne out of here as soon as possible.
"Dbbbt vit nethe plase IIIIBEa goo gal," he suddenly heard her mumbling something. He frowned and brought his ear closer to her only to hear this:
"Don't bite me there, please… I'll be a good gi…"
"Okay, let's get you back to your room first," Orion suddenly panicked, having a pretty good idea why this was happening.
He remembered a long time ago, messing with Daphne's dreams when he wanted to learn more about Nick at that time.
Back then, he had left her dorm while leaving a little naughty suggestion for her to have wet dreams about him.
He suddenly felt like the FBI was soon going to raid his house after today.
"Let's get you out of here."
