Harry pov.

Harry sat in front of Greengrass as she looked directly into his eyes. Without any warning Harry used legilimency on her, right away he encountered her mental defences which are far stronger than you would expect from a first-year.

Harry encountered one mental barrier after another in Daphne's mind but he easily broke past every one of them, until he came across the last barrier. Harry took a different approach for this, he carefully attacked till the barrier is on the brink of breaking but stopped a moment before it could fully break down.

With that Harry left Daphne's mind. Harry is once again sitting in his room with Daphne sitting right in front of him. She looks exhausted as he clutched her head nursing a proper headache due to his mental attacks.

"Impressive, Greengrass. You lasted far longer than last time and your defences are also a lot more substantial. Keep this up and you will have no problem keeping me out of your mind." Harry praised her as he took a sip from his cup of tea.

"Don't patronise me, Potter. You easily broke through my defences, it is no different than from the first time." Daphne snapped at him still clutching her head.

Harry sighed. How will he explain to this girl in front of him that comparing herself to him is the most ridiculous thing she could do.

"I am not patronizing you, Greengrass. You have really improved in these past few months. Far more than I ever hoped. So just keep doing what you are doing and don't push yourself too hard, that can lead to disastrous consequences when practising mind magic." Harry calmly explained.

Daphne still nursing her headache reluctantly nodded. Harry doesn't really know how to explain to her that her mental magic is far beyond her age. Even as a first-year she already has the mental defences of someone attending the Auror training program after graduating Hogwarts.

Daphne spent a while in his room letting the effects of their training pass, after that since it was late in the evening she left in a huff. She is far too competitive and she is literally trying to compete with the worst person, him.

Harry watched her leave while still sulking over her supposed loss. It is training, not a competition, one that she asked for. Daphne in order to improve her Occlumecy asked Harry to test her defences, so that's what they have been doing once a week for the past few months.

"Greengrass might improve faster if you used the way Snape trained you. Also, that way is a lot more fun and she will also be far motivated with you tearing through her mind and her memories." Tom spoke as he suddenly appeared beside Harry.

"If By fun you mean torturous then yes it will be extremely fun for her." Harry snapped back.

"Why are you suddenly so interested in Greengass, Tom? What did that girl do to earn your attention?" Harry asked.

"I am not interested in Greengrass. But you clearly want to figure out why is her magic is improving so fast and you have exhausted every other option. Just tear into her mind and you will find what you are looking for." Tom suggested with apparent glee.

"This is exactly why you don't any have friends Tom. We don't torture our friends just to satisfy our minor curiosities. Now I have somewhere to be so I can't waste any more of my time talking to you." Harry spoke and with that, Tom disappeared.

Forbidden Forest.

Charlie Potter pov.

Charlie is lost, there is no doubt about that and worst of all he is lost in damn Forbidden Forset with Draco Malfoy. He can't see a way that this night could be any worse.

"I told you to follow that stupid dog, Potter. Now we are stuck here with no way out all because of you." Draco spoke with the lantern trembling in his hand. He looks like he is ready to piss himself.

"No! This wouldn't have happened if you just kept your stupid nose out of our business. No, but just had to be a prick like always and you got all of us in trouble. So just shut up for once in your life and follow me." Charlie snapped at Draco. It was all Malfoy's fault for getting them all in trouble, if it wasn't for him they wouldn't be facing a detention in the forbidden forest of all places.

Charlie leads the way through the forest trying to remember everything Rose and Hermione ever drone on about the forest, trying to figure out if anything can help in finding their way back.

Suddenly he heard a twig snap and when he turned he saw a pair of glowing eyes peering at them from the darkness. Then he also noticed two more pairs of eyes from further behind.

These eyes clearly belong to some kind of animal and they are glowing in the dark just like cat eyes. Charlie doesn't know what kind of creature is watching the both of them but it has to be huge based on large eyes stalking at them.

"Draco, slowly stop moving and no matter what don't make any sudden moves." Charlie whispered to Draco.

Draco turned pale but slowly did what he was told.

"Draco remember when you said that there is a pack of werewolves in the forest and I didn't believe you and called you a coward." Charlie whispered.

"What about it?" Draco whispered back.

"It seems I was wrong and I owe you an apology"

"Glad to see you finally came to your senses, Potter." Draco said without missing a beat but suddenly he realised what Charlie meant. "Wait, what!?" he said before the idiot started screaming.
