A Multi-Role

Even though Lily was only born two months before Jey, she looks mature after what happened ten years ago. Since Mama Joana's death, Lily took on the role of an older sister and a mother for Jey, who was like a child who lost all the directions in her life.

Jey's tears of gratitude streamed down the girl's cheeks. Jey had a hard time expressing her emotions and thoughts after the accident. Every time she had difficulty in that area, Jey just sat with Lily like they are now, babbling comfortably without judging each other.

Jey is so grateful to know someone like Lily, who is not only her best friend but one of the people Jey holds dearly and irreplaceable in her heart. The woman, who is only one call away, always shares her positive energy without realizing it to her surroundings, including Jey. Jey knows that Mama Joana's death is not only leaving scars for her, but Lily also feels the same sense of loss as Jey.

Lily rubbed Jey's wet cheek lightly, and another hand lightly rubbed her head. Jey slowly organized every mess in her mind and heart. After calming down a little, Jey asked about Lily's day and the intention of Lily's coming to her penthouse.

Carried away with the gossip between Big Boss and her best friend, Lily threw every problem on the back of her head for a moment. Hearing Jey's question, Lily was reminded again with the intention of her arrival and explained about the data leak this afternoon.

"George Lopez, hmm, GL Parfum Empire, a young businessman from country H. I think I met him like yesterday at sparkle club," explained Jey, rubbing her chin with her long fingers trying to remember the man in question.

"Hmm, then it is safe for now because maybe he wants to do a collaboration or a new project with the John Group." Lily nodded her head while typing her laptop, sending a confirmation from Jey about George's identity to the information team.

"Until now, the team is still trying to trace the identities of another one, but the results look negative. I might go to the headquarters, Red Garden, tomorrow morning to back up the team," informed Lily.

The two of them also discussed the mission's progress in searching for 'the King' briefly. They then decided to end their discussion for the day and rest, considering that they still have so much to do with their respective activities tomorrow.
